This trail provides access to six beautiful lakes and many campsites. This is scenic route and takes the hiker through magnificent alpine old growth forests. After passing Lower Eddeeleo Lake the trail begins to climb to Waldo Lake. From Six Lakes Trailhead to the Pacific Crest Trail. Passes by Blow and Doris Lakes. Note: The trail enters the Three Sisters Wilderness Area shortly after leaving the trailhead. Wilderness Permits are required for both day-use and overnight travel in the Wilderness from Memorial Day Weekend until Oct. 31. Permits are available at the trailhead.
