It's located off a busy street next to a Wendy's, across from a hot tub retailer and near a Wal-Mart, so you can kind of picture what kind of area this is. Mostly quiet except for the occasional train rumbling by or person with souped-up 1980s car going through Wendy's drive-through.
Friendly, organized management with dog treats and human treats (coffee + candy). Clean, hot showers and laundry nearby. A section of the park seems to be dedicated to more permanent residents, which could mean anything, but in this case seems to mean 80% non-sketchy. Decent separation between sites. Hard to walk anywhere without crossing a freeway on-ramp. All in all, decent and clean, we'd stay again. Good Sam gives you a $3.50 discount, and site prices range between $35-$45 during off-season.

Not bad for inside the city limits of Bend and considering that Tumalo State Park is closed for renovations. Besides, we get a lot of nights camping in remote places. When we come somewhere to actually check out a city, we like to be as close as possible to the action, especially when always working around nap schedules and meals. The first spot we were given at the Scandia RV park was sandwiched in a line of huge 5th wheels, skirted with insulation and not looking like they were going anywhere. When we asked about the spots on the wide open back loop, they happily moved us, like it had never occurred to them we might not want to be shoehorned in immediately behind a Wendy's. The park is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Bend and all the brewpubs and parks on the river (I took a $10 cab out to one the first night) and easy walking distance to Walmart, Albertsons, Harbor Freight, a good Ace Hardware store and the Bend Outlet Mall. And there's a Toyota dealership across the street, so we'll drop the Sequoia off for a 10K service tomorrow.

(Price reflects weekly rate special). The spots here are pretty close together, with not a lot of privacy, and it is located right next to a Wendy's drive through. If you can, I would try and snag spots 318, 320, or 322 as they have more green space and privacy. That being said, it's a great location to explore the city of Bend. We rode our bikes pretty easily down to Farewell Bend Park, the Mill District, Pilot Butte, and Downtown Bend. It was a 10 minute drive to Downtown, 30 minutes to Mt. Bachelor, and 20 to Smith Rock. The owners were friendly and delivered packages right to our door. The laundry rooms were clean and only cost $1.25 per load. There is a great bagel and donut place right next door, and you can easily walk to some of the stores in the immediate area.

Showed up on a weekend (early April) without any reservations and had our choice of spots. Would suggest a spot near the back to be away from the main road and the neighboring businesses. Our spot was next to a fire pit which was a nice amenity. Restrooms were clean and met expectations. Laundry room was clean and machines worked well. Overall location was great and about a 10 minute drive to downtown Bend. Friendly and informative staff. Wi-fi was good.

I was pleasantly surprised by this park. It was peaceful and quiet for being in the center of the City. Close enough to bike to the Old Mill and Downtown. Sites near the back are more spacious and private. Wifi was surprisingly fast. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Bend.

Stayed at Scandia RV park for Three Months. I came in, in January renting a spot monthly now the price for the park I thought was fair. But there was a lot of disappointing things about Scandia. First off the bathrooms were always nasty I couldn't tell you how many times the toilet was broken and or clogged and how long it would take before it was kind of fixed or cleaned. The grounds keeper a young guy I spoke with told me his horror story's about working there, managers on site would threaten to fire him for no reason the kid would work his butt off with no supervision because his supervisor who lives on the other side is a drunk and didnt want to be bothered. And the winning peace as to why I would never stay here again, Richard the manager on site. He is a very rude person, as I said I stayed for three months was told in may I would have to leave for the change of the season which was fine. However come April I go to pay my rent and there was a mix up they had double booked the spot I was staying in. Richard asks if I would mind moving to another spot for the last month. I tell him that would be no problem and ask if that comes with a discount or anything. He gets so angry with my question starts to yell at me and threatens to kick me out of the park after his little tantrum he storms off leaving the poor gal at the front to figure it out. Needless to say I left in april and would not recommend this place.

Bend, Or in town option, cramped sites but very clean. I would stay here again. We uber and walked some of the Bend Beer Trail. Laundry facilities here and clean restrooms. WiFi never worked but we find that a lot.

We liked this park for its convenient location. The sites are pretty typical of a private RV park with not much space, but the grass and trees made it feel a bit nicer than some. Didn't use the bathrooms, but the laundry room was spotless and the machines all worked. The office staff was friendly and you can tell they take pride in keeping the park looking nice. We would stay here again the next time we visit the area.

Edit: As of February, 2019, the website now includes accurate pricing information for full hook ups. I would still verify the cost of whatever you're booking before you book it so you don't end up with any surprises, but I'm glad to see they have remedied the issue.

Original Review:
Overall, this park was ok, but it was obscenely overpriced, and even worse, when I just checked their website, it is apparent they have quite a bait and switch operation going on.
When we stayed there this summer, we paid $61 per night (with a Good Sam discount). As I was looking at these other Campendium reviews, I noticed other people reported much lower prices. I checked Scandia's website and saw their current prices are listed at around $40. But if you look closely, you'll see it says: "Full Hookups, Cable, WIFI, & TAXES NOT INCLUDED in Price."
From what I can tell, the prices quoted on their website are for limited hook-ups and exclude many fees. For us, we weren't given an option of limited hook ups - perhaps because we are in a big rig or perhaps because those sites were booked up when we made the reservation (many months before). All I know is, we paid $61 per night and nowhere on their website does it mention prices anywhere close to that. They should at least be upfront about what the possible prices are. It just seems dishonest.
Otherwise, the park was fine. Sites were very close to one another, many were unlevel, etc. The trees throughout the park were nice and the customer service we encountered was helpful enough. Additionally, the location was decent for exploring the city. Overall, if the price was $40 per night, it would have been great. For $60, I expect a lot more, and I certainly don't like businesses that try to mislead their customers.

Host was NO help. Assigned to a site with NO space. Expected to setup a table on the back side of the RV. At $64 a day with no refund options we were stuck. Will make the best of it, look forward to departing and NEVER returning. Worst RV Park ever experienced. Highly recommend Walmart.
