Swope Park

Swope Park is located at the corner of Taylor Avenue and Covert Run Pike.  A playground and swings are on site for the kids, and three half-court basketball courts are also there. The basketball goals are a thin double-rimmed type, and local neighborhood kids are usually found in the late afternoon playing games of 3 on 3 and 4 on 4. The park closes at dusk, so don't show up at sundown and expect to break a sweat.
