Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on November 19, 2023When I arrived there were a couple local vehicles. Kids were swimming, another fishing. They went home and no other people camping. I had it to myself.
Clean, well manicured grass. Sweet lake, nicely kept pit toilets. I-80 is only a mile or so away, not as quiet as I prefer. Maps took me here easily.

Stopped for an overnight. There were 3-4 other cars/trucks there. Small area on the pond to pitch a couple tents. Best for just a stop over to sleep

It was a nice quiet place to stay for the night. Only a couple other campers there. We pulled in at night and didn’t realize there was a dead deer carcass about 100 ft from us. It did have a dumpster to dump garbage which was nice…. There isn’t a lot to do there though so just a sleepover for us and on to other adventures.

Great place beautiful sunsets over farm fields good pond for swimming and fishing. Cool table on dock so can eat at the water. Few bench around pond. Potable water and clean bathrooms. There is power outlet at shelter. Came in our skoolie and my brother with his truck and scamp. Quiet and beautiful spot. Will hear few shots from duck hunters in morning but not everyday

This is one of the best over overnight spots on our trip. Towing a 25ft camper we pulled in at 8pm and were the only ones there. No noise at all. There's water spigot and vaulted toilets, bbq Pavilions. Area was clean and safe.

Quiet, small campground. Stayed the Tuesday after labor day. No one else there. RV spots depends on whether anyone else there and would be a harder to turn around in a rig larger than 30'.
Nice sunset and sunrise, very large fire pits and smaller pits and grills. Close to I-80 but still pretty quiet. Great, free spot for stopping by. Can camp up to 14 days.

Nice, clean, and his previous review mentioned small. Thursday night, no one else in the park. Can’t out of the back of my pick up truck, pulled right up next to a picnic table and fire ring next to the lake. Pick up truck, van,, tent, small pull behind... this is a great little spot.

Ok, it’s not the Ritz, but it’s quiet and peaceful and free!
There were 3 single campers with small tents, 1 big RV, 2 small campers.
They have fire rings and picnic tables but you have to walk to them. You can’t take vehicles on the grass. So we all were camping in the grassy area next to the parking lot and it worked just fine.
My dog enjoyed the company of the dog in the camper next to us.
After a walk around most of the lake there, we sat and watched the swallows catching bugs on the water and in the air. Must have been a hundred!
There is a nice vault toilet. And the cows next door came to visit us this morning.
I have US Cellular and had 2 bars.
In all it’s a peaceful pretty camping area!

Stopped over for a quick night- it was pretty quiet at night (Wednesday) and only a few other people came to visit the park in the morning but we left mid morning so maybe it gets busy later.
Nice view with lots of picnic tables and grass to walk the dog
