Then drive just a few miles to this campground, which is a real gem. Set in a city park, there is a playground and other park features, but what you care most about are the 8 paved pads, each with 50/30/20 amp service, water and sewer, all for just $18/night. The pads are well-separated, and the ATT signal was awesome.
There was only one other person here when we camped. There is a self-pay station, but no camp host today, and this is June, which is tourist season, so presumably there is no camp host. The City also runs another park, listed on Campendium, but since we didn't stay there I can't review it. Just know there are two options maintained by the City of Beatrice here.
I gave this site four stars for access because you have to drive on a dirt road for a short stretch, but it was not challenging. Cleanliness is not five stars because the rest rooms are for a park for general usage, and not a dedicated campground. There are no showers in the rest rooms.

Nice spot. Very clean and well groomed. A bit pricey compared to my normal state part. But the did have sewer hook up at the site.

Riverside City Park is very well maintained. It has large grass areas and big, beautiful trees. We have two young kids who loved the open space, paved paths for biking, and two great playgrounds. There is also a beautiful tree that is great for climbing. A local told us that it is called a hedge tree and the interesting fruits on it are hedge apples (not to eat). They have showers and bathrooms, but we didn’t check them out. Paved sites. There was only one open when we arrived on Sunday afternoon. We had no problem parking our 42 ft RV. Another RVer mentioned if there is an open spot, it fills up quickly. Guess we got lucky! A wonderful park for just $18 for full hook ups (50 amp, water, electric)! It is only about 5 minutes to Homestead National Monument, which is why we stopped through here. About 40ish minutes to Lincoln.

Arrived on Sunday afternoon to find the campground completely full. Talked to a gentleman staying there and he told us that it was full due to workers staying full-time and there is very seldom any availability. Although the campground has signs stating a 14 day limit, it isn’t enforced. A very nice and clean park if people weren’t living there
