Looking to stop for a shower and some internet time, we called an hour before arrival and snagged a spot. Full hookup although we only wanted electric. Perfectly level spot - yippee!! The shower was nice, albeit steamy. Nice property with water/creek running through. Have our AC on so not sure about road noise, but we are right off the road. I bet it isn't an issue, especially over night.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Our rate was $10 higher per night than standard as there is an additional charge for children but we would definitely stay again. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is very nice. Never got the WiFi to connect but we had 2 bars of AT&T LTE and didn’t need it.

We thoroughly enjoyed the immaculate grounds, family friendly atmosphere and fishing pond adjacent to our site.
We will gladly come back again!

I had a back in site right on the creek, but very near to Hwy 160 (road noise in the day was loud). The back in sites are very tight. There is not room to put the awning out (you'd hit the rig next to you). Because the site was so tight, it didn't feel very private. Be aware that the back in sites do not have an electricity meter and your monthly charge for electricity is based on average use in metered sites.
Pull through sites and sites further from the road were nice, especially the ones on the water. Mid-park pull through sites were variable. Some are spacious and others are not.
The park across Hwy 160 from the park is a nice place for morning walks. The RV park grounds are well maintained.

We chose this RV campground because it was located on our route to Mesa Verde and it appeared to be quite beautiful. Indeed it was. The grounds are impeccably maintained with flowers everywhere, landscaped lawns and carefully planned streams winding through the property. That's the good news. The bad news is how close they park everyone. And the really bad news is how they charge top dollar for the privileged of staying here and then tell you all the restrooms/showers are closed due to Covid. (Full disclosure... they mentioned this in the advance email bill). However they don't offer a refund or cost break for not providing that basic service. And all the while the smiling staff is walking around without face masks and otherwise ignoring Covid distancing protocols. In my view this place is solely interested in profit, not service or accommodations. Very pretty but not worth the big bucks. The business about Covid closing the washrooms is an excuse to scrimp on maintenance costs while soaking their customers.

We stayed here last year and loved it. There were flowers everywhere and it was beautifully landscaped. Now they have changed management and gone are the special touches. They are installing a bunch of yurts around the perimeter which is great except they will block the view of the small river running through the place. They aren’t keeping up the sod in between units - we basically have gravel. There are tons of open sites whereas last year the place was pretty full. Given that there are so many open spots it is odd that they are packing people into one strip like sardines. We were so looking forward to this stop in route to northern Colorado. Such a disappointment.

Family of 6 traveling— wanted to stay in Durango last minute but everything was booked. We found Outdoorsy and so thankful we did! Kid friendly and super quiet. The stream across the street is perfect for a quick dip. Fishing is catch and release and they are HUGE fish!
Called after hours, very friendly and nice lady answered as I was checking availability (we were about an hour out) She didn’t hesitate to provide me rate and space information. Rate was awesome. The park is beautiful and well set up! Wish we were staying for more than one night and could truly check out the entire place! Will definitely come back and stay a bit.
