We spent 4 nights at this park April 14-18, 2017. It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Bandera and right next to Bandera City Park. It was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. 50 amp sites are grass with gravel pads. 30 amp sites also available closer to the Medina river are grass. Some highway noise if your're near the front, but gets real quiet at night. $25/night with Good Sam.

We stayed a couple of nights at Pioneer during Bandera Mardi Grad. The park is close enough to walk to the events in the small town. The people are friendly. The park is a little crowded with small sites but I would stay again. It's on the Medina River.

Friendly people. Clean sites. They do have long termers but the sites are kept neat. Lot's of friendly snow birds...roosters crowing around 0430....lots of deer. Town is overrun w/th them.

We stayed here one night in the beginning of May 2019. We were just passing through and it was perfect for an overnight right off the highway. We choose a pull-through site, so we didn’t have unhook the truck. The site we were on was not level at all. We ended up not leveling and just dealing with it for the night because we didn’t want to have to unhook. It’s a cute little RV park situated before you get into the town of Bandera. You can easily walk to downtown if you desire. The park staff were nice, and they have a pool and hot tub which we unfortunately were unable to use. It would be a nice stay for a few days to explore the surrounding area. We would stay here again. Nightly stay cost depends on the site, but they do offer Good Sam and few other discounts.

the place is great, the only bad thing i can say is the layout, but that's the designers fault. your right next to one another. left to right side and so forth, so on one site your drain hoses are on top of each other and there's no room for anything and some places your slide-outs are close to each other. on other sites your awnings are over each other. if you know your neighbors then i guess that's cool. but if you don't then your WAY to close to one another, other then that. the front desk personnel are outstanding, they bend over backwards to help you out. real nice people. the laundry rooms are fantastic. even have a free pool table and TV, books, puzzles etc while you do your laundry. the pool is real nice, bathrooms are great. the hot tub is great to but no idea why you would want to get in that being its so hot here. your walking distance to most things you want in town. they have a guy right on base that can was and wax your RV for good price. thought that was awesome, i loved it there, BUT, again hated the closeness of neighbors when they got busy, they tried to keep the rv's apart but when they get busy, well they cant and then you are right next to your neighbor so when you open your door, well there is your neighbor. o yea. the wi-fi was also outstanding. we could stream movies on netflex with no problem.

Most Convenient to Bars, Shopping, Restaurants. Good rates, Good Sam discount. Dog park, on the banks of the Medina River, walk to City Park or downtown area. Full hookups, wifi. Upper level also has cable. A few cabins for rent. Gets full with Snowbirds and on big event weekends. Good showers, restrooms, community center with events. Friendly staff. Pool. Pull-through sites are very close together.
