My brother from N.Y. was visiting & he is a western fans I took him here. The bar has a great western atmosphere and great live music. we were here on a Friday afternoon 2:00 to 4:00 pm. The street outside has lots of great shops and is very close to Fells Point.
My initial impression was great, until I sat down and touched the bar top, which was sticky and has glass rings all over it. The drinks were good. I put a $20.00 bill on the bar for the first round of 2 drinks. I had a Bloody Mary and my friend had a Captain Morgan & cranberry. Without telling me how much I owed, the bartender took the $20.00 bill and I saw no change. I wasn't sure what happened, so the next round I did the same and noticed that he put either 3 or 4 dollars in his tip jar without asking my permission.
2 rounds and an 8 dollar tip. ???
I won't be going back anytime soon. If I do, I'll use my credit card.
wonderful atmosphere. great drinks. a bit pricey but its what you would expect in a touristy place. a must go if you like Jack.
