“Conserving the world's aquatic treasures”
We inspire conservation of the world’s aquatic treasures. The National Aquarium protects and preserves this blue planet and all of its animal and habitats through its engaging living collections in our ground-breaking Baltimore attraction and the nation’s first public aquarium in Washington, DC; our science-based education programs and our hands-on experiences in the field from the Chesapeake Bay to Costa Rica; and partnerships and alliances with like-minded organizations around the world.

There was a pretty significant line when we got there, but worth the wait. It's a little pricey $35 for adults, but it's 3 stories and takes about 3 hours to get through. There are a lot of activities, including mermaid story time for young kids. Free dolphin "shows" that are exceptionally cute. My favorite part of the aquarium is the bottom floor where all the sharks are. The tanks are at ground level in a circle and you stand in the middle and watch them swim around, so you can come face-to-face with them between the glass.
The 3rd largest aquarium in the USA. One of the greatest attraction in Baltimore.
You can get tickets online, so you don't have to wait in the usually long line to purchase them. Don't miss the dolphin show-- and definitely take the time to talk to a dolphin trainer if they're around!
Took the family there Spring 2014. Had a great time. Kids loved seeing all the marine animals.
Honestly not the best Aquarium I've seen. The dolphin area is under construction and they aren't doing any shows etc. Lots of real estate for not so many animals.
We had a lovely time. The aquarium is amazing and there are pokestops and a pokegym for the addicted Pokémon Go players.
I love this place. Very diverse collection of marine life. Great rainforest themed exhibit on the top floor. Make sure to get tickets online or prepare to wait in line.
