Confirmed by 6 users | Last reported on June 30, 2023Lovely large town park in Aurora, NE. Treed. A small stream runs through the park. RV campsites are set off in a small area of the park. Back-in pretty level sites. Water hookup and electric at site. Dump station available. Moderate to small size RVs will fit in the spaces. Looks to be about 15 hookup sites. Overflow parking, too, if the rv sites are full. Quiet. Big park with lots of recreational activities used by town residents, mostly. Don't know if pool is included with camping. Flush toilets. Donations accepted. Wi-fi included! Pretty strong AT&T signal.
If you have time, you should check out the historical County Courthouse. Very friendly folks. A beautiful building in a beautiful little town! We stayed one night in a 24' Class C RV. We were treated to a dramatic, crackling midwest thunderstorm overnight!

We stayed here in our self-contained camper van in mid-October and early November. The sites are close together but level, and there is a heated unisex bathroom attached onto the nearby outdoor (closed) swimming pool that we were able to use despite the cold temperatures. Each site has a free electrical hookup and there is free wi-fi. There is a nice walking path to nearby baseball diamonds and a creek running through the park. A free dump station is available but we did not use it. The area is lit at night and it was quiet. I'd imagine in the summer this place would quickly fill up.

We stayed just one night but you can stay up to 4 nights free. Has free water, electric and dump station. Nice walking paths and pet friendly with lots of pet cleanup stations. We walked down the street across from the park entrance a few blocks and ended up at a very nice town square. There is a town pool/water slide next to the campground so I imagine when summer season starts the campground will be full?

What a great place. We were supposed to sleep and leave early morning but the place was so nice with a great aquatic center in the park (18$ for a family of 5), bicycle trails in the park and even free WiFi. Whole family really enjoyed Aurora.

As i've been traveling thru Nebraska i have come across these city parks more and more and they are all terrific. Small but accommodating, this one is situated in the small town of Aurora, mexican chinese and panini restaurants within walking distance(a couple blocks) local laundromat i block away! im giving these places all 4 stars, writing review using free wifi - definitely worth the stop! verizon jetpack was 2 bars but could not stream - iphone still had 3g at 4 bars - wouldnt try and work here but a great stopover for a day or 2!

We pulled in around 9pm on a Sunday while passing through Nebraska. We were car camping so it was great for us but should be no problem for a camper or tent. It was quiet but there were others camped out too. Easy on and off highway and some quick places to eat nearby.

No complaints for a good will donation campground, with power and water, with a nice dump! But the water happened to be turned off while we were here. Walked to the store, didn’t do anything else, just passing thru..but what a cool water park and playground. I would guess you couldn’t get a spot here in the summer months..there are sme trains in the distance, who blow their horn...not too bad..

We found this park thanks to Campendium and couldn't be happier. There are only a few gravel sites that will fit a 35' or longer camper. The water was not working the night we stayed. The worker was not sure why it was out. We had 30 amp electric. Enjoyed walking around the park. Close to town. Fairly quiet other than a few trains. Only 4 miles off I80. Great for a one nighter. They take donations. We have $6. There's a water park adjacent and in the summer I imagine it's hard to get a site. Free WiFi too!!

Perfect during our stay across Nebraska and dodging the blizzards. They did cut the water off due to cold weather but electric and sump station available. Get a breakfast pizza from Casey's Genersl Store and a coffee from Coasters .

It’s a super clean little RV Park with 30A and two 120V outlets per site. Park and plug in. Picnic tables dispersed among the sites as well. One shared public bathroom that was acceptably clean when I visited.
Be careful backing up into sites. Some sites have poles at the back of them and some don’t.
But then there are the trains. I hate trains. I think the goal of each train conductor is to make as much noise as possible when entering the nearby train yard.
This is a great free (make a donation) RV site, if you can sleep through a lot of trains blasting their horns.
