“Free campsite!”
Historic Streeter Park is located on the north side of Aurora, just off of Hwy 34. Donations requested 18 trailer sites Tennis Court Ball fields Nature Walk Area From I-80 take exit for Aurora. Go north on SR-34 to SR-14. Turn left at light go about a block. Park on right. There is a sign and a box to leave donations. Definitely worth a donation. Some train noise, but have heard worse. Nice small campground with lots of big shade trees.
Trains about a mile aay, sounds like a block away. Maybe not so bad if you're in a camper, instead of a tent. Car and camper pulled up next to me at night, more noise that didn't help. This was after Labor Day, mid week, expected less traffic. I guess I wouldn't recommend this place for a tent camper.
Free campsite. Free hookups. Only problem was train noises which were mild
Nice place to stop and rest, stretch or walk if you need it. If not, keep going to one of the next nature areas. Free camping confirmed for donation only. Restrooms, creek, baseball diamonds, and a very short trail overlooking the muddy creek. Not too bad but I would wait until the next place unless camping.
Nice campground area in park. Electric 30 amp at each site, water available to fill up RV tanks, and dump station on way out. Pool available in August, other months it is member only. Trains loud, in RV not to bad. Free camping .. can't complain
Do you need to call to reserve a space?
We are planning a long road trip, would we need to reserve a spot here? Or chances are we would have a space to park our RV for the night?
Free camping and electric hook ups for 3 nights. It also has a nice paved trail and a playground for kids. We would definitely stay here again.
