We have been here for 2 months now and there really isn't a single complaint.

RV Lot rent is $932 every 30 days and includes water, trash and electric. The showers and bathrooms are clean and maintained. The units are cable ready and we have Comcast Xfinity service at our spot. We did have our septic get backed up, but that was taken care of within 3 hours or letting the office know. The lady at the office said she would make a call immediately about getting it taken care of but that she couldn't give an exact time, which was perfectly acceptable. The groundsman came by and hooked up his machine to the electric and water and flushed it out.

There are a few neighbors who let their dogs off leash, but they don't seem to ever be just roaming around the park. Some folks don't pick up their dog poop, but its no more than anywhere else and there definitely isn't poop "everywhere." I haven't seen a single dog approach someone threateningly, unless you count the little Pug that knocked over the 4 year-old toddler when they were playing catch.

Haven't dealt with any neighbor disputes or barely even hear much noise other than sound from the Air Force Base or Interstate 225. Aurora PD has a precinct HQ right across the creek and they haven't had to come out here for anything.

Most of the people staying here seem to be folks who are working locally (ie construction on the VA Hospital) or families with children in treatment at the Children's Hospital. The park employees at the main office are always helpful and courteous, though I could easily see how someone who is tired or stressed out could misconstrue their matter-of-factness for rudeness when they respond to questions that EVERY person asks when they walk in the door, to me that would be on the person walking in the door, not the park employees.

There are plenty of places you can walk to for food and the access to and from Interstate 225 you just can't beat. You're in downtown Denver in 15 minutes, 30 minutes to Golden, 45 to Boulder and hour from the Casinos and less than 2 hours to Vail, Loveland, Breck etc.

I highly recommend Denver Meadows.

Not really a very nice place but we called 4 other parks and they were all full. Just dirt to camp on. No grass anywhere- not even for the dog- just weeds. I heard they are re-zoning the area and this will probably be gone all together

Kind of run down and old. Bathrooms are pretty bad but the showers are ok. If you’re coming to Denver during summer it maybe the only campground with availability.

The very pleasant and helpful lady at check in was fast and efficient.

The grounds are all paved and not kept up. The weeds and distressed possibly abandoned mobile homes were the nearest neighbors. It was very noisy with trains and highway traffic all night long.

Site was very easy to access! Water, Sewer 30/50Amp. No WiFi :(

Bad neighborhood, half filled pool, website advertising a jacuzzi and no jacuzzi, also no meadows.....

I choose this campground because it was very convenient to where I would be working for a 2 months contract. The other local campgrounds had no availability, and there really is not much to choose from. This place is very old looking It is a large parking lot, gravel lots (some paved), paved roads. Very tight spots, some trees. The electric went out multiples times during my stay here. Staff said fault of electric company. I think their systems could not handle to load of so many air conditioners running. We had multiple days over 100 degree weather. Was scared to death to leave my cat inside while at work (bought a temperature monitoring systems that would alert me if temp went over set level). Had some not so nice words with grounds keeper but sounds like he was getting shafted by owners also, so I let it slide. A lot of full timers here. Bath house is old looking but appeared to be kept clean. I never used the showers but a full timer told me that they turn off the hot water in the summer. Bathrooms, showers and laundry rooms are not air conditioned. Good size laundry room. Washers $3 a load. Dryers .25 for 4 or 5 minutes/depending on what machine you used. Do allow packages to be shipped to office. There are no other amenities here. Staff were friendly, especially Veronica. They do reservations over phone, but do not take any payments at time of reservations. I was nervous that I would arrive and not have a spot but I had no problems with that. Park is convenient if in area to explore Denver. Paid $600 every 2 weeks. Told prices do go down in winter time but unsure of amount.

Run down and old with lots of abandoned trailers. Sandwiched between a highway, high tension power lines and a subway track. Broken glass on the main road by the office and people fighting outside in the middle of the night were some of the other perks. Way overpriced. On the plus side it was easy to get in and out of.

Something is strange about this park. It is huge and mostly empty, yet sign on the office door says no vacancy. Tent city of homeless people just outside the property. Location is prime real estate near the University of Colorado Med School. Looks like they are trying to clear out mobile home section and long term residents for some future purpose.

So I was excepting a pretty nice place for being one of the most expensive places I have stayed.

There is a section of abandoned houses and trailers right outside the gate that government has taken over and boarded up.

There is a homeless small tent camp right across the street.

Very loud, right between the highway, train, and hospital with ambulances (which might be helpful if one of the crackheads stab you)

Got set up and had to move because the water didn’t work, front desk said they forgot.

And my favorite, there is a crack/meth pipe laying right outside the laundry room, for days, that nobody has moved.

I wish I had taken pics for this review. We have been traveling for the past 18 month. This by far was the most expensive places we have stayed, with zero amenities. I mean zero! Oh, and if you’re there too long they expect you to mow the grass (Umm what?), or they charge you $50 to kindly mow it for you.
The first thing I noticed when I pulled in was the tent city across a small creek, literally 100 yds away. Luckily we didn’t have any issues in that regard, but still unnerving when traveling with a 3 yr old.
I honestly do not know how this place is still open. Prices are horrendous, $70 night, $450 week, $1800 month. Nothing for the kids to do except have scavenger hunts for used needles or strike up a conversation with one of the park drunks.
If this is a last resort, as it was ours. The water, electric and Seward works (at most sites). Try it before you setup.
If I had to do it again, I’d parked on BLM land before contributing $$ to the Denver meadows park.

I needed a place to stay and was unable to book another site because they didn't have availability for the week. I chose Denver Meadows because they had plenty of available sites whereas the other campsites didn't have anything beyond a day here and there. When my kids came to visit me I moved the rig to another site.

Let's start with the good.
The check-in process was pretty painless, just make sure you do the math yourself. I was left alone despite the appearances at the site. While the location is loud (right by a highway) it is convenient enough to get to the places I wanted to get to. They have dumpsters everywhere that get emptied.

Now for the bad:
There is nothing at this site beyond the basics which makes it the roughest we have stayed at. When checking in there was a math mistake that resulted in getting charged an additional $100 however I had to go back later to get the refund. When pulling into the site I saw utilities on both sides, however when attempting to hookup to them only one side worked. The site isn't maintained so the weeds are growing pretty hardcore. There is a bunch of unrepaired damage evident everywhere. As I drive in I pass a few trash double wides that may eventually get cleaned up. The washers and driers didn't work for me so I had to do laundry offsite.

Bottom line:
The campsite is fine if you want to stick to yourself and you have no kids.
