Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on September 05, 2022The Sweetie and I used this as a home base for playing at the Silverwood Amusement Park just about 8 miles south. When we arrived, there was one person there and a bonus abandoned car partially blocking the access to the back camp spots. The guy that was already there said a "ranger" had stopped by earlier and was going to have it removed but it was still there two days later when we left. Anyway we got the first spot which had a nice breeze from the lake. We found a level spot with the help of our tire ramps. It would probably not be suitable for anything over 30 feet. The furthest back campsite might accommodate A rig maybe a little bigger if you have good backing up skills. Rock fire rings were pretty full of ash but serviceable. The gravel road was fairly busy and distant train whistle noises would be the only reason for four stars and not five.

Formally 3 campsites. Forest Service has blocked access and now formed a small gravel parking lot.
Just possible to maneuver and squeeze 24' tt, IF no one else is parked in the small parking lot ahead of you. It would be best IF you're are dragging a small tt, to park out on the dirt road and walk in, to make sure you can turn around, or you're going to be backing all the way back out to the road.
Lot will park 3 vehicles side by side. No privacy.
Camp? Think Rest Area, the only thing missing is the interstate.
Well traveled dirt road serves the local population.
Noise? you can hear Hwy 95 at night and then there's the trains which come often and are loud.
The lake is nice.

Nice area next to lake with dock. Enjoyed fishing, canoeing, and biking. We got T-Mobile coverage and a few channels. There is an open area where RVs could park, plus one back in spot and a couple of tent areas. Port-a-potty on-site and several bon fire pits. Very nice stay!

Just pulled in to scope it out. There are about 4 tent spots, and the whole site is 1 small cul-de-sac sort of single driveway with a turnaround. There's a porta potty.
T-mobile is getting 4 bars and 14Mbps. Verizon shows 1 bar and 5Mbps.
Overall I'm getting the vibe that a couple of the spots are lived in.

Stopped off here on the way to Glacier NP. There were some locals staying having a good time and also possibly someone living there. It didn't feel unsafe but we stayed as a couple and the people staying there were nice. I can understand if you wouldn't want to stay there alone female traveller. It could be a bit noisy at times because of the trains passing by. Good free stop for one night. There seemed to be a discarded tent in one of the spaces too. Porta-loo available too.
