“with rolling hills, woods, & open fields”
This 421-acre wildlife area lies 4 miles west of Athens, Ohio. The wildlife area includes rolling hills, woods, open fields, and two water areas. Situated among wooded hillsides is 48-acre Fox Lake. A small pond is on the northeast corner of the area. More than half of the area is wooded. Hunting and fishing are the major recreational uses, along with nature study, hiking, boating, and bird watching. Large rock outcrops known as ìcradle in the rockî to local residents form small cave-type shelters on the north side of the lake, and are an attraction to boaters and hikers alike.
Be Aware... My husband had the Catalytic Convertor stolen from his truck today while it was parked and he went out fishing. One more freedom we have to forgo now due to horrible people out there with no regard for others property.
