November 19th, 2020: RVer report confirms reports from July 2019 and July 2020, & info provided by OR DOT. This new Rest Area and Welcome Center opened on July 31, 2019. Overnight RV Parking is allowed. State of OR allows parking (but not camping) in rest areas for up to 12 hours in any 24-hour period. Restrooms, sheltered picnic tables, trash receptacles, Appears level, with 'Dark Sky' lighting. Possible I-5 traffic noise, but commercial vehicles over 20,000 lbs are not allowed in this rest area, making it quieter than most rest areas. July 2020 RVer calls it 'wonderful, quiet and well lit.'
