Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on February 17, 2022This KOA was convenient but the bathrooms and showers were out of order so they had a portable unit that was nasty.
The pool was open and was a refreshing break to our long day at Six Flags.
We camped 2 nights and the site was nice except for all the trash in the stream next to our site.
The staff and residents were very friendly but I don’t highly recommend this KOA.
One of the most efficient, clean and the nicest group of host that you could ever ask for. Entrance to campground can be easily missed if not paying attention. GPS takes you right to it. We were escorted to our site immediately and space between sites was adequate. Text message kept us up to date with current weather or other needed camping info. Excellent for Cowboys Stadium. Overall one of best camping experiences ever..

Park is located in an industrial area. There are a lot of sites and they have just enough room between them to not feel cramped.
Staff is very nice. They pick up trash from your sites between 0800-1600 which is a plus.
I substracted one star due to the lackluster kids playground. This is a KOA “Holiday.” The playground needs more equipment.

Staff was all super-friendly from the front desk folks to the workampers picking up trash (just leave by the road). Two fenced dog parks, one for 25lb and up and the another for 25lbs and smaller. I really liked this. Poop bags and trash can available. (Wouldn't it be nice if everyone used these?)
We were in a pull-through and they are very long. The sites are a *little* cramped together, but certainly not the worst I've seen. We have two motorcycles with us, plus the truck for our fifth wheel, so we can tend to sprawl!
We have both AT&T and Verizon for our internet, and we also have T-Mobile for our phones. As expected, all the speeds were really good. You are in the middle of town, by the way.
Couple of notes:
• To approach the campground, you MUST be going northbound on Cooper. Google, etc. can tell you to take a U-turn if you're going south. Even without the rig, I can't do that in my F-350. Check your maps and directions, folks!
• It's a tight turn. Myself, and later I saw another rig doing it, you'll have to be in the middle lane (again, northbound on Cooper) so you can swing wide right into the campground entrance. It is a HORRIBLE design. They should rip out the curb, and make the whole thing much easier to approach. I'm sure the City of Arlington has something to say, but it should absolutely be re-worked. My only real complaint, honestly.
• All exits from the campground, you *will* turn right. Cooper Street has a divider down the middle. And Cooper is a busy, busy street. Always allow yourself extra time to get where you're going when you're leaving the campground. Unsure, yet, about getting the rig out of here! Fortunately, there is a stoplight at California, so there is a break in traffic.
• We didn't use the bathrooms, laundry or playground so cannot comment on that.
• The office is really great for handling package delivery. We had ZERO problems. Also, a cute little store with standard RV supplies and lots of great Texas gifts and more.
• We did get some Texas Freeze time, so the water was shut off to protect the system. The staff is VERY good about texting everyone with announcements and keeping you up to date. We really appreciated that!
• This isn't the campground's fault, but the land next to the campground is getting worked over by bulldozers, etc. Obviously getting ready to build something. Right now, Feb 2022, it can be a little noisy. Beep, beep, beep, etc. from the equipment. It wouldn't keep me from staying here again, for sure.

We stayed here for a family visit. The site was fairly level but all sites were very close together. The staff could use with a little dose of friendly. Bath house was clean. Appears that there are a lot of full timers staying here.

I’m shocked this has 5 stars. It’s our least favorite campground we’ve ever stayed at. It’s not awful and the staff is nice but it’s not in a great area, spots are very close together, and the pool and cable kept having issues while we were there. If you want to camp in a city you might like it but if you’re like us and expect campgrounds to have a naturey feel then this place isn’t for it.

Yes this campground is in the middle of a city but you can't tell once you pass through the gates. Nice trees to provide shade. Great pool, good wifi, and clean bathrooms/showers. Only issue we had with kids was lack of playground. The bounce pad was too hot to use and only a swing set.

Internet was non existent. Don’t expect to get any. I feel like for being a KOA and the price they should have internet that can keep up with the park demands. We just got a regular pull through site and it was nearly $60 night during the week. Sites are small, you have about 5-7’ between rigs. We originally had to move because they put us right next to a tree and our slide would not go out. They were also not very friendly about the situation they seemed upset that they put us in a bad spot. They have a huge park and only 4 washers and dryers, it just isn’t enough. The restrooms do have showers and stalls but the restroom smelled terrible like no one had cleaned it in a while. The trees are beautiful and all the leaves had fallen this time of year. They have 2 dog parks which were awesome. They also have a general store with small items you may need, as well as propane which is a huge plus. I wouldn’t call the playground a playground, just a swing set. I was looking forward to letting the kids be able to run around and this just wasn’t that. This park could be amazing if they properly did it and they should be able to with what they charge. Not impressed and I wouldn’t recommend. It falls short of the KOA standard IMO. Hoping to try it out at a later date and see if changes were made to improve.

Stopped through on our way from Big Bend NP to Nashville. We’re not typically KOA’ers, but we needed a clean, nice stopover to recharge after being in the desert for a week. After reading the reviews, we decided to stop... So happy we did! This KOA exceeded all expectations. It’s super clean, bathrooms and showers are on-point, folks are really nice, the park is pretty (with great trees!) and excellent stormwater drainage. A massive storm came through during the night... No flooding or water issues the next morning. Despite being on a main road, the park is secluded, safe and relatively quiet. We will absolutely stop here again.

Unfortunately the ground was very wet and there were many puddles. Laundry room does not have a change machine. Staff in the morning was very courteous and friendly. Free muffins and hot coffee was available for $1.50 a cup. WiFi was so weak for us we used our phones as a hotspots.
