“Biggest soda selection in America!”
This sculptural take on a soda bottle and straw soars 66 ft. into the sky. Like a rocketship from another realm, it’s THE must-see Route 66 landmark, standing next to the space station with which it arrived. Each night as the sun sets on Arcadia, LED lights transform it into a dazzling light show of Times Square-quality luminosity. An infinite array of colors and patterns salute the world’s greatest variety of soda pop inside. Take a front-row seat at the counter where the sights include bubbly POPS fountain service and hand-dipped ice cream milkshakes. Or choose a booth, a window table or, weather permitting, a table on POPS' patio. Way cool. From mouthwatering Chicken Fried Steak, to tasty burgers and sandwiches, POPS Restaurant has it all! Come in and try our signature burgers, made with 100% Black Angus beef and a variety of toppings and sauces! On weekends, breakfast lovers consider us eggs-perts with the lightest, fluffiest and tastiest egg creations. Our beverages start early with orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. But the obvious attraction is our record selection of over 600 ice-cold sodas, POPS-picked from around the world, from South America’s Guarana Brazilia and Austria's Almdudler to Hawaii’s Waialua Pineapple Soda & Oregon's Hot Lips Sodas.
Holy cow! It was perfect! We got to cruise on 66 while listening to Josh Nolan's Fair City Lights album, and stop in an awesome place with Kentucky's soft drink, Ale8! A little piece of home for an awesome road trip!
I think this is a must do! While people complain that it is crowded, we did not find that the people were overwhelming at all. VERY busy, yes, and the wait for a table was a bit of time. The food however was quite good and the service excellent. The collection of sodas was such fun to see. I purchased an imported soda that I have been wanting for some time and my husband got a couple of interesting ones for himself to fill out the six pack. It is spendy, but the array of items was huge and it was worth it to purchase a six pack costing almost $15 just for the novelty of it all. The building itself is a work of art and then there is the soda bottle in neon. I think it is a must stop
Such a fun place!! So much variety we were laughing at all of the interesting pop names and artwork on them. It is a cool place to get gifts for someone who likes pop and likes to try new flavors.
OMG Great food, few seating! Awesome variety of pop and Great tasting also!!!! Also has a Picnic Area and Grass for the kids and pets to get rid of some energy!
On our third anniversary roadtrip, we ventured from Los Angeles, Ca to Springfield, Mo. There were plenty of kitschy stops along the way, but nothing was as iconic or as mesmerizing as Pop's; it was our favorite stop, without a doubt!
This place is overwhelming. We picked up a six-pack of soda and went to the car to share them. The large selection makes it hard to choose.
Definitely a busy spot on the weekend but worth it just to see the massive light up pop bottle out front! Restaurant is really good as well!
SUPER BUSY! Very hard to really get a good look at all the soda with so many people, but still really fun. Great souveneirs to bring home to people. My family and friends loved getting "martian poop" soda and strawberry chocolate soda. :D Make sure to go at night!! the soda bottle lights up!!
Me and the wife are visiting OKC and came up here. Pretty cool place. Soda is $2.19 a bottle but it's still cool
Amazing little diner! They have so many bottles of soda it is almost impossible to choose. The burgers were great and the "Ripper Dog" was awesome. They have a great outdoor space that our kids played soccer in.
