The chamber and the RV sites are right next to the Veterans Memorial in Andrews, it is something to see! I have Verizon and have good cell service there as well. You can bet anytime I'm in the area I will be staying there.

This is FREE camping and is a good stopover if you are forced (!) to drive through this part of Texas. It is a parking lot next to the Chamber of Commerce that has been retrofitted for electric and water hookup. There is a dump station, as well. The toilets appeared to have been locked up permanently. It was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday night (with 2 other campers there), though the road noise did pick up early in the morning as all the oil workers set off for work. There was a wifi signal, but as the Chamber was not open, we were not able to get a password.

This was an awesome thing for Andrews to do. Offering free camping to people passing through right next to the Veterans Memorial is generous and thoughtful. They do have places to donate, which seems only fair. It is located on Broadway and operates on a first come first serve basis. Of course with housing being tight in Andrews, I discovered there are a few people who try and take advantage of their 3 night maximum stay. I really enjoyed staying there and it allowed me to connect with my hometown again after several years. Thanks Andrews!

We were heading to the southwest for an extended stay. I had read about this site on Campendium.
We had a tire problem on our fiver and were told by the employees at the Chamber of Commerce where to go to get a replacement. The price was very reasonable and the people were friendly.
We also caught up on the laundry.
People passing by our camper told us about the Senior Center for lunch, we met some nice people there.
We would stay hear again if we were passing threw this area.

Stayed for one night for free in a 33 ft travel trailer. Nice and clean, looks like recently renovated. Next to Chamber or Commerce and in front of a church. Lots of trucks do drive by, but it didn’t bother us. We were the only ones there, with a fifth wheel parked but with no one in it. Has hookups and one dump site. Very open and easy to maneuver. Posted rules say to check in at Chamber of Commerce during business hours. We arrived on Sunday, so went in and just wrote our info when they opened on Monday.

Stayed May 17th 2019. Easy in and out. Easy fuel a block or 2 to the east. Water and electric hookups with a dump station. 5 spots first come first served. Nice veterans memorial park next to the chamber of commerce building. The people going to the church on the west side of lot use it for parking so if you get there from 9:00 to 11:30 on a Sunday morning you can’t get to the dump station, so get some lunch and after 11:30 it will be all clear.

Stayed overnight. Arrived about 9 p.m.so chamber was closed. This is set up for RVs who have their own bathroom as none on site. Maybe if you check in early with chamber they give you access? Electric and water available. We used the restroom at the city park behind the pool/water park. They were clean and open all night. This is several blocks away to the east at Broadway and Mustang. Highway noise.

There are five of these spots located behind the Andrews Chambers of Commerce. We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon and were lucky enough to get the last spot! Pulled into the spot, went inside to register. They only wanted a name, phone number, and how long you were planning on staying. There is a three day limit. There is 30 and 50 amp available. It's a small town. We felt safe enough in this location to leave our rig and run a few errands in town. Would definitely come here again!
