Coastal live oak, sycamore, willow, elderberry, and walnut trees can be found along a year-round stream.. There are 4 miles of hiking trails along the canyon walls and stream bed. The trails are suitable for hikers of various levels. There is a nature center with a museum, natural history exhibits, and nature classes.
