Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on November 20, 2023Tom R was such a gracious host. I called him several times from the road and he was so kind and welcoming. There’s a bunch of roadwork in this area. Funny, it was there last year too! GPS told me I missed the park and I was on a one-way outer road. Just keep going and you’ll arrive at their darling office/gift shop. Didn’t use wifi but he said they invested $ in it and it should be fast.
There are highway sounds but to me that sounds like vacation so I don’t mind. Campers wear ear plugs, right? Don’t know why anyone would complain about noise.

Very basic old school RV park. Spaces are tightly packed and it’s been raining so standing water on my parking spot.
Owner was very nice and although $39 for one night was high he offered me a rate of $36 the next time I come through...not likely 😉
It’s a safe place to park but not worth the price. It was a $20 - $25 value.
Pretty close to the interstate Highway so some road noise is expected.

We got the last spot available and come in late. Appreciated the hospitality.

We only stopped for the night but Tom was very nice and friendly! Gave us options for our spot for the night. No dog Park but there was plenty of open area for our dogs on leash. Only plugged into electric for the night. Great access on/off I-40.

Assigned site 3. Hooked up, left for supplies and dinner. On way to dinner manager called and told we HAVE to move because a monthly renter came in a day earl. We skipped dinner. On hooked went to the new site. Manager no apology only hurry up. Never go here if you're expecting courtey.

We were given a level pull through spot in the back of the park. Very private. Highway noise may be a problem for some but did not bother us. Office is open later than most places, making it easy to arrive after dark.

Great location, friendly helpful staff. Stores and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately a lot of road construction underway presenting challenges.
Tom, the new owner, was very nice and is making many improvements to the place. Good location off interstate and close to many shops and restaurants. Quiet, clean park. Playground is getting some maintenance done but was great for letting our toddler let out some energy.
