Holiday Inn Express & Suites Amarillo South, an IHG Hotel

We had a hard time to find the hotel because we arrived in the middle of the night, cause it was too dark but i don’t think that’s hotels fault, fortunately the check in was fast and easy so we got in our room right away. The staff was very kind and helpful. Generally Holiday Inn was a clean and quiet hotel (ask for a room on the back side of the hotel cause IH 27 is close to the hotel and maybe the noise will bother you). Our beds were very comfortable and our room beautifully decorated and very big. In the shower the water pressure was a little low but i took a nice bath anyway. The best thing was the breakfast, it was hot and fresh, the staff kept everything in order and very clean. I totally recommend you to stay at this hotel, it’s a great choice!

Pretty standard Holiday Inn Express which is just what my wife and I needed. All standard amenities and right off of the highway. It isn't the easiest place to find just because it's tucked away off of the outer road but, it's not terribly difficult either. There is a theatre next door and the hotel has a decent restaurant with happy hour drink specials. There was a sign in our room that said happy hour appetizers also but that turned out to be bogus.
