We only stay one night and pulled in very late. I called ahead to let them know and there was a map with instructions to a very easy to pull through space. Nice park.
We stayed here overnight. The sites were bigger than the last few campgrounds we were at. Kids loved the indoor pool. Clean bathrooms. Would stay again.
Best campground ever!! Sites are huge and service is awesome. The fenced pet areas were just the ticket for my tired traveling puppies. Friendly staff and so much better and less expensive than KOA.
Wow! Great RV park! There's a zip line next door, a playground, indoor pool, gift shop, very nice facilities and the pull through spots are huge! The owner not only escorted us to the spot, he even helped hook us up! You can book a free limo shuttle to/from the Big Texan restaurant that has the 72oz steak challenge! Definitely recommend this place!
The drive through a residential neighborhood to get here had me wondering, but once here Wow! Super friendly folks! Heated indoor pool, clean facilities. Some highway noise, but not too bad. Good overnight. Right next to a small waterpark with some crazy looking slides!
Good Sam Park
Stopped here for overnight, easy access, clean and we had a spacious pull through lot—229. Made the trip in the caddie to have dinner at Big Tex. All went well till 2:30 a.m. when our electricity went out. No solution on our part, we even tried moving to another location as there were many spaces available. No luck. After a sleepless night we finally learned the office already knew there had been electrical problems within the new concrete slab lots in the past and we were only one of several who had issues that night. Disappointing as we delayed our departure several hours trying to troubleshoot our issues. Maybe I should have suspected issues as their very good WiFi kept completely dropping earlier in the evening.
Prior warning and an emergency plan would have been warranted since they knew they had problems.
Coffee and bagels for all in the morning was nice especially since we couldn’t make our own.
My advice, good place to stay but ask if they have resolved their problems. They were gracious to give us a partial refund for our issues.

The Amarillo Ranch RV Park doesn't have the prettiest sites, but the amenities made this a great stop for an overnight stay while traveling cross country on I-40. We stopped for just one night while traveling west and set up in a large pull-through site. All of the sites appeared to be neatly maintained and level, and some had more shade than ours. The showers were the largest I've ever seen, and each shower had a big room to itself. They were spotless.
As mentioned, the amenities made this place special. In the morning, coffee and donuts are free in the office. They even offer real half-and-half for the coffee, which is a luxury with free coffee. Our sons enjoyed the donuts, which were delicious bakery donuts. The office also has several tables, DVD rentals, and some games. One amenity we didn't get to use was the pool. We arrived after hours and didn't have time to play the morning we were checking out. The large indoor pool looked clean and wonderful, though. The office staff was also very friendly.
The Amarillo Ranch is located close to some neat places in Amarillo. From the RV park, you can walk to a little waterpark, and about 20 minutes up the road is the infamous Cadillac Ranch, which is a fun place to turn the kids loose to spray paint some cars.
Amarillo Ranch is conveniently located near restaurants and groceries stores, but most importantly, it's a quick stop off of I-40, if you're looking for a place to hop off of the interstate. I probably wouldn't want to stay here for a long vacation since we prefer campgrounds with more natural settings, but for a reasonably-priced, clean place to spend the night, this is a great stopover.

Super easy stop off I-40, fun to watch for the signs along I-40 advertizing the park and the steak house as we approached. We had fun with the free "limo" pickup at our site to the steak house and delivery back. Indoor pool was very welcome in middle of July heat. Friendly staff, very clean park and nice drive through site with plenty of room.

Wildthing & I wanted a spot to wait out some very windy conditions for a few days in Amarillo and boy howdy we found a gem. We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted with a friendly welcome by Janet followed by an easy check-in. Was escorted to our site by Rickey, who got us situated like a pro, but then I guess he is. We checked out the indoor pool & hot tub. Both were nice & warm & good sized. The big pull thru sites were all gravel, which is ok because Amarillo is in a drought so the grass would have been the same color anyway. Power was good & Rickey was sure and warned us to use a regulator as water pressure is 80psi. Sometimes amenities make a place but in this case its Lori, Rickey, Janet and all the staff that make it one step better. So stop in for the donuts and coffee, stay a few days and explore Amarillo.
