We stayed at Jeske’s in a travel trailer in late Sept. The staff was helpful and friendly on the phone. Payment was made with an envelope system. There were only two other sites in use when we arrived. The campground was on the side of a hill with little to stop the wind. Sites were plenty big, but they were gravel and not level in either direction. Water was at the front part of the site, electrical was in the middle, and sewer was at the back. The slope was sufficient that we had to move the camper to dump. There were also countless sand spurs… our dog had to wear boots. The campground is right next to the highway. Noise was not bad at night, but it was very loud in the morning and during the day.
We walked from our camper to Carhenge, which is adjacent to the campground. We also took a tour of Greenhouse in the Snow, which was fascinating!

It’a pretty much on the side of a hill. Not really level. But it was available, easy, full hookup, and exactly what we needed for an overnighter. I don’t remember exactly how many bars of cell service we got (Verizon) but it was enough for the kids to stream a movie without any issues.
It was an awesome place to watch the sunset as a thunderstorm rolled in. And yeah, carhenge is right next door so it’s a good place to take some pictures and say you’ve been there. I imagine it’d get pretty windy but when the weather is nice it’d be a very peaceful place to spend a couple of days.

Literally next to Carhenge! I highly recommend that you make this campground your destination the day before Carhenge. It is very well taken care of, and it just makes for an easy adventure
A quiet place that's adjacent to Carhenge. The friendly owner is continuing to improve the pace. I like it.
