Arrived to find out the pool was closed and was told I could sit in my RV with the AC to stay cool, very sarcastic. I paid for a premium site and they wanted to put me in the smallest site, they said I will be able to squeeze in there, I didn’t pay extra to squeeze in a site. I asked for a refund and was told I needed to give 72 hours notice so they said NOPE that’s just the way it goes. I then told them they should’ve given me 72 hours notice about the pool being closed.
Bottom line, they were not friendly. We left and found an AWESOME place 15 mins up the road.
Beautiful park with over 200 sites; located a little outside of town across the freeway from camping world; fully paved; continental breakfast was worth skipping having only powdered donuts, yogurt, bagels, and coffee; manager acted like getting propane was an inconvenience, making me wait a day to get it. Still I recommend.
Nice and clean with a super friendly staff. It's not far from the highway which seems like a drawback at first, but makes it really convenient when you're tired from driving all day. The spots aren't particularly large or beautiful but they are well kept and there are trees and a nice dog park. It's also not far from Old Town Albuquerque which, while a bit touristy, is a really fun place to explore and pickup souvenirs.
Don't let the missing photo scare you away. This is a nice, clean, quiet RV Park with excellent amenities. We had a friendly greeting upon arrival. We were travelling through so arrived late and left early but we did make it a point to check it out. Nice dog park there too. It's an easy drive to Albuquerque where there is plenty more to do. Definitely would stay here again. Would likely be a 5 but only staying one night I'll hole back with a solid 4.
The property is no longer up to a price standard. The grass is not being routinely cut, there is dog shit in the gravel , there are dead trees on the property and dead limbs. At $68 a night, the place is no longer worth the price. Sure they have a small pool but it’s not worth what they are charging!

We tried this park from a personal recommendation from a ABQ Resident. Check in was easy, and the staff were very nice, They have a small store with Groceries and RV Supplies, also a nice Gift Shop too. The Showers (A+) and bathrooms were nice and clean. All Laundry machines were in working order and clean. Sites were nice and wide and level, with a nice table for dining. A chopped rubber surface in the dog park (A+) was a nice feature. The coolest feature is they serve a Continental Breakfast, Coffee, Bagels, English Muffins, Danish, Hard Boiled Eggs, OJ, Yogurt, Waffles and Cereal (just like hotels) without the pancake machine! That was crazy good and sure made up for the higher rate. The only negatives we see are things out of their control, like Highway 40 Traffic noise, and wind. The park is close to a loves for easy fill ups, and you'll need to go a few miles for any real grocery shopping. Caution for those driving 3/4 - 1 Ton Pickups. Albuquerque is a Hot Spot for Vehicle Thefts (2nd in the nation currently) and they have been targeting Diesel Pickups, so be very careful. The Park seems very safe, but don't leave your truck in downtown unless you have eyes on it, or a passenger waiting. This is real, not fear mongering.

On the way to Albuquerque, we had a double blowout on the right side of our camper. We spent 4 hours waiting to get on the road again and were road weary when we finally made it to American RV. We arrived after hours and easily found our welcome packet. The sites were well lit enough for us to hookup at midnight pm with little disruption to the other guests.
The next morning, we were happy to find clean showers, a big laundry room, and a well-stocked continental breakfast.
We were in need of new tires, and the staff happily pointed us in the right direction to find some.
In our haste to get to the tire shop, we accidentally and unknowingly tossed our truck keys into the trash. A couple members of the staff went immediately into action, searching with us until we found the keys.
They also revived a package for us and made sure we received it before we left.
