The back story of this place makes it even cooler... So it used to be a TB hospital back in the day, and is, of course, supposedly haunted. The restoration & repurposing was done beautifully. The bar was nice, and my room was unique and charming. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Albuquerque.
Loved this place. Great hotel with a clean, comfortable, modern feel. Only downside was no pool, but did have a hot tub. We definitely stay here again.
I stayed here back in 2014 while on a road trip to Sedona.
The hotel is beautiful and well thought out. The history is even more intriguing. I had such a great stay last time, I've booked 2 nights on my way to and from Sedona this year, at the end of August 2019.
This is a great location to wander down the street and explore some of the eateries and bars, but the hotel has one of the coolest bars on top of the hotel itself. They make a mean martini!!!
Had a great time here. Friendly staff and clean space. My family stayed in a cozy Deluxe Double room for the night. We're traveling to move to our new home so we have our cat (the pet fee is $75 for one pet btw) and they were very accommodating. They even had a little squeaky toy for him to play with! The only complaints I have about this beautiful place is that the shower we had was not the glass walk-in that I see in the pictures on here, but instead was a standard shower size with just a shower curtain that did not reach the floor and the floor did not have any raised edges as I believe the shower is meant to be more easily accessed, but we found it impossible to keep the water within the shower. The whole bathroom floor would be covered with water after the shower. Also, be careful to make sure the door lock is not sticking out at all cause when you come back to the hotel to open the door, the door may catch onto the lock and you'll be locked out. Despite these two things the place is a great place to stay and it has a good breakfast as well. :) I'd definitely recommend this place for those passing through Albuquerque.
This is a beautiful hotel. The staff has gone out of their way for us.
I'm sitting downstairs having a yummy breakfast as I write this.
My room was clean, comfortable and stylish.
25 years in the hospitality business and i love this hotel. I'll be back to track down the ghosts!
This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are on the small side but don't feel cramped. The bathroom is quite large. They have awesome toiletries and they have bathrobes in the room. The shower is amazing it's a large glass walk in with great shower head and water pressure. Very comfortable beds, pillows and bedding. The garden area is beautiful and a great place to enjoy your breakfast. I do wish that they Incorporated maybe more of the history into the restoration. The rooftop bar is neat and offers a great view of Albuquerque especially at sunset but the SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! Don't go up there unless you have all the time in the world and don't mind waiting a half an hour per drink and getting served after people that just arrived. Plus it wasn't even busy there were maybe 5 groups of people there. I wish I had spent my time and money in a bar else where and the service is the reason I am going to rate the hotel a 3 ( Id really give it like a 3.5). The guy that checked us in and showed us to our room was very friendly but other than him i didn't feel very welcome.
