Reviews
The chamber of commerce/visitor center in Alamogordo offer a donations only dump station in the middle of town. The visitor center has lots of local info and free wifi. At the dump site there was also a dumpster to toss our kitchen trash in, and an aluminum can recycling can.
The only downside is there is no fresh water to fill with.
Still there, still free by donation in the box. Located right along the main drag, this dump is immediately north of the visitor centre building - enter at the visitor centre. There is rinse water, non-potable and they ask you not to fill your tanks with it. A dumpster is right there as well for trash. It looks a bit tight - big rigs can't turn around after the dump. No need as there is an exit north of the dump where you can turn back onto the main road so all good.
Easy access, next to the zoo and inside the chamber of commerce parking lot. We used the facility today 10/31/2021.
They were extremely kind but said they don’t allow overnight. They let us stay anyway but said police might stop.
Free dump with very easy access. Runs parallel to the main road. Dump itself is very level. They had a hose for tank flush. Accepts donations.
Easy in and out. Hose already attached for flushing. Also has a trash dumpster. Sign says you can make a donation, but I didn’t see a place to make one.
Very nice free dump station with rinse water. No potable water here. The chamber of commerce has set up a donation box. They also have a tradh dumpster on site.
Free dump station and dumpster. Big enough space to fit our 31ft trailer in no problem.
Great and very accesible facility!
Easy in and easy out to even for big rigs. Chamber of Commerce is located next door to the Alamogordo zoo. Very friendly people
