“Made from really thick paper known as Wood”
The design of the plane is based on that of an Origami F-15 and is almost 30 feet in length. The body is not infact made from paper but wood. It is outside of the Sparhawk Art Gallery and Bed and Breakfast so if you stop by this awesome attraction make sure to give them some business!
DO NOT go here. I wish I could give it zero stars. There's a locked gate, and they've put plants/trees all around the outside so you can't see anything from the sides and have to go in. But we couldn't! Because the gate was locked! I think it may have been part of a museum or something, but from the glimpse I got, it wasn't worth the stop. It's not made of paper (not even cardboard or particle board), it partially covered by a tarp, and is very underwhelming.
This was our first official "cheesy roadside stop" and it was AWESOME! The owner gave us all paper airplanes and told us about the history behind them. This hidden treasure is just that... hidden! Very cool little Bed and Breakfast too! If you're passing through... STOP!
the airplane was destroyed in 2018

Booooo! There’s a gate that’s locked and you can’t go in. It’s surrounded by lots of trees!
This is inside of a gate and even kind of hard to see from the road. Was not worth the stop at all.
Stupid! I have an idea. I'll make something cool and put it on a road trip app then lock the gate. Don't bother with this stupidity.
I was really amped about this stop, which is why I'm so disappointed about how it turned out! The backyard that this airplane is in was gated up, so we couldn't get close to it and I had to photograph it from afar. :( What I saw of it was.... good, I guess. Honestly, I thought it'd be a bit bigger.
The real great thing about this is the owner of the onsite motel ushered us into the onsite art gallery which had tons of paper airplane projects! They give classes and it was a unexpected treat I just thought it was a paper plane but there is more. Hate was locked but we went up to it and looked in and he saw us
We stopped here at night so we couldn't get a very good look at it. The plane sits in the backyard of a bed and breakfast. There is no parking so we parked our car at the gas station next door. The owner/artist was incredibly kind and enthusiastic though. He welcomed us through the gate even though it was late and then gave us a tour of his mini gallery inside the bed and breakfast.
