This Bridge is part of the Wentworth Golf Club course and is accessible to golf cart and foot traffic only. It can be seen from NH Route 16 just past the Honeymoon Covered Bridge in Jackson.
Jackson Falls is located on Wildcat River and has a total cascading drop of over 100'. The Falls have 2 parking areas, one at the top of the Falls, and the other at the bottom of the Falls. There are also signs at this location depicting the history of Jackson Falls which makes this waterfall very interesting as well as beautiful. Directions: Take Rt. 16 to Rt. 16-A(Village Rd) over the Jackson Covered Bridge (Honeymoon Bridge) to Rt. 16'B (Carter Notch Rd) go .3 miles to Jackson Falls. Plenty of parking at the bottom & the top on the right.

Stroll along the historic & scenic Shore Path in downtown Bar Harbor, & take in the expansive views of Frenchman Bay, Bar Island, & the Porcupine Islands. Walk across the sandbar to Bar Island and enjoy the nature trails & stunning views of Acadia. Take a peek inside St. Saviour's on Mt. Desert St. to see the exquisite stained glass windows designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Start out at the Hull's Cove Visitor Center & drive the Park Loop Rd to get oriented. Stop by the Wild Gardens of Acadia, hike, walk or bike the carriage roads. Visit Otter Cliff, Sand Beach, & Thunder Hole. Take a coastal drive that meanders through swaths of Acadia, quaint villages & along Somes Sound. Visit the towns of Seal Harbor, NE Harbor, head down Sargent Dr., which is one of the prettiest drives on the island and SW Harbor. Visit Seawall & Bass Harbor Head Light before heading back for dinner.
This 27 mile road is the crown jewel of Acadia Nat. Park, and the primary avenue for navigating through the Eastern portion of the park by vehicle. If you don't get out of the car, it will take approx. 1 hour. Start at the main Visitor's Center in Hulls Cove, the rd heads S. Turning L after about 3 miles will put you on the one-way portion of the Loop Rd. Following the rd in a clockwise direction will take you past the Wild Gardens of Acadia, the Precipice Trail & a peregrine Falcon observation point, the Schooner Head Overlook, Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Monument Cove, otter Cliffs, Wildwood Stables, the Jordan Pond House, Bubble rock, Bubble Pond & the summit Road to Cadillac Min.
10/6 Thursday ---RESERVATION for Cadillac Summit Road @ 12noon Pick up sandwiches & take into park for picnic lunch. Need "access pass" for park entrance as well.
