This is a suggested route from Newport to Astoria with a little detour thru Pacific City and Netarts. This detour takes you to a great restaurant, a great tide pooling location and a lighthouse. I make several suggestions on attractions and restaurants along the way for you to pick and choose from.

If you time this right, this is an easy access from a parking lot to tide pooling areas at low tide. You walk around the point, and exposed rocks are covered with sea creatures!

This is a nice little hike out to the light house. You cannot go in it, but the views are spectacular.
