Dublin
Location great for Temple Bar district.
Irish Coffee is awesome! They have a business next door, Temple Bar Trading Company, with decent priced souvenirs.
This was a must see for us and highly recommend it! Contested as oldest book in the world and includes the library of Trinity College with several important historic documents of Ireland. Price - 14 euros.
Neat museum, we went because Bubba's heritage was a big reason for the trip. Price 15 euros.
GO!!!! FREE!!! Original Rembrandt, Picasso, Monet, Yeats & more
Highly recommend. 1220 AD, tons of awesome artifacts.
We stayed the last night in Ireland. Great hotel not far from Temple Bar district.
We walked to it, but didn't buy tickets online and the wait was over an hour for the tour. I would recommend buying tickets on your phone an hour before you go. People talk about the view from the top being spectacular.
We did not make this tour, but went to the active Distillery near Waterford.
Incredible. This is not far from the next place Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge. Would likely stay in the area if we ever go back.
GOT Filming site. Limited number of people a day, we missed it, go before Giant's Causeway if you go. (You can still take pictures and see it from the road, just can't cross the bridge to the "Iron Islands" without admission)
GOT site. You can drive up to it and take pictures, etc.
We did not spend any time in Belfast, but this looked interesting to us. This is the site where the Titanic was built. We did go to the Titanic experience south of Cork which is the last boarding location.
Cute little Inn in Killyleagh near Castle Ward / Winterfell. We stayed here because our friends live here. I recommend checking out Strangford/Portaferry or Downpatrick if staying near Castle Ward.
Bar next to inn that offers traditional jam sessions and has great seafood; all caught fresh daily.
