It took me a full morning to book 2 campsites and figure out which route to take in order to avoid Phoenix. It's bad enough I'm going through Los Angeles - but I'm doing it like a ninja at 3 in the morning.
Not sure how stealthy a 24 foot RV is, but if I can be ninja-like, I'll try. I used to live in LA, I know the quagmire of traffic even at odd hours.
Signed up for a soak in the hot tubs at a rustic spot just a few hours away from my final destination of Catalina State Park.
After 4 nights in the RV, I'll be looking forward to staying in a house with 2 cats, AC and a pool while pet-sitting and planning the next part of the route.
