Born In Brunswick
When in Hobart it would be a crime not to sample Born in Brunswick’s wattleseed and ginger hotcake with kaffir lime and coconut ice cream accompanied by native basil macerated strawberries (try saying that 10 times before you’ve had a coffee). And if a sweet start to the day isn’t your ignition turner then dig into the smokingly good lemongrass crab, blistered tomato with gochujang butter (another tongue masher), scrambled eggs and a citrus, chilli, herb salad.
Either way you do it, you must do it as this is an Aussie brunch that will make you smile, rub your tummy and be happy that you’re celebrating Australia in Hobart.
