The Apollo
The great thing about Australia is celebrating our heritages - as there are so many of them. And one tasty way to celebrate Australia’s Greek heritage is to eat at the chef’s table, in The Apollo. Nestled in a space adjoining the kitchen, the chef’s table can seat up to 12 and is an amazing way to indulge in their feasts, whilst almost being part of the bustle of a the kitchen.
Set in a minimalist, industrial building The Apollo reflects the barren but rich Greek countryside with raw concrete, a little marble, a little brass and a splash of colour.
You must savour the oven cooked shoulder of lamb with lemon and yoghurt, dip into the taramasalata and try to share some of the walnuts filo pastry (but you just might find you’re not be able to share. It’s that good.)
