When a beach is renowned as one of the top 10 in the world, it's good to have viewing options. Shaped like a perfectly-formed chalice, Wineglass Bay is best seen from above and you can count on a steepish 90-minute thigh burning walk to the best view at Wineglass Bay Lookout. After staring at the arc of Wineglass Bay you will probably want to feel the crazily white sand under your toes and dive into the big blue so that’s another half hour down to the beech and there’s no ‘ish’ about this descent. It’s just steep. But worth it.

However, if donning hiking boots feels about as exciting as standing on a box jellyfish, then get yourself on an eco cruise into Wineglass Bay. Once anchored, you can hold a wineglass full of top notch local wine, gorge yourself on seafood and cheese, marvel at the bay and surrounding sea life, and spot the hikers sweating it out on the steep descent.

Dolphins and seals are popular drop ins too.
