The Resort at Schlitterbahn

Up to 12 people can fit in the treehouse unit at The Resort at Schlitterbahn, which have three bedrooms and two baths. The Schlitterbahn family cabin is also located in an ideal place right next to the falls, and it overlooks the river. Oh, if you stay in one of the treehouse cabins you also get "extended access" to the waterpark, meaning that you and your friends and family can hit up the arcade, the swim-up bars, and some of the pools after everyone else in the park leaves for the day.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark - New Braunfels

You'll definitely want to book a stay for a few days, because it'll take that long to fully explore everything the Schlitterbahn Waterpark has to offer. It's got heated pools, speed slides, surf simulators, tube chutes, kiddie pools, and the Master Blaster Uphill Water Coaster. The Master Blaster sends rides up and down a 6-story-tall, twisting slide on a raft that's propelled by water jets for an extra fast ride. It's one of the first of its kind, and it's often listed as one of the top water slides in the country!

The waterpark closes when fall starts to wind down and reopens in the spring, but the resort stays open all year round, offering heated pools, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, rafting, kayaking and all kinds of other fun activities. Besides, who wouldn't want to stay in a treehouse in the fall??
