I've always felt a pull to just hop in the car and GO. And these are a few places I'd like to visit.
This is a BEAUTIFUL state park, and close to my heart. It's about an hour south of my hometown, and I've been there a few times before. The rock formations and waterfalls are breathtaking.
Being a big fan of bluegrass and folk music, I've always yearned to visit this part of the country.
One of my favorite bands, The Avett Brothers, has played here a few times and I WANT TO GO! Even if I cannot see them play, it looks awesome.
I've been to Yosemite once. And let me say: wow. The drive up through the mountains to get into the park is beautiful, and the views are awe-inspiring. I'd like to spend a whole week hiking here.
Portland seems like such a cool and quirky city, and Japanese gardens are usually quite lovely spots.
I hope to see so much more than the places listed here on my road trip. Hopefully one day I can make this happen!
