WOO! HEEW! First road trip in a long time! Really excited to see this great country I live in. Although it's not so much a road trip, more necessity really. I guess there aren't any good pipefitters out in Missouri, so they called Billy. Best pipefitter I know... I just get to tag along... I am an amazing co-pilot though... Can't wait to see what the country has to offer!

Pushed on through to Joplin, yet another long day of driving. Poor dogs are just done with being stuck in a car. The room we got was really nice. All modern and neat. One more day of driving a bit farther and we have made it...
Not the prettiest place to stay, alright it's down right divey! Although it has cable, Wi-Fi, king size bed, and a shower. All the comforts of home. Accept the nasty stained walls and mildew in the shower. I'm a handy cleaning fool though so cleaned her on up and now its home away from home. Not at all what I imagined before we left California but it never is right? Next week should be a little better.
This place was wicked good. I'd say its probably Missouri's version of California's In n' Out... I am a faithful In n' Out fan and will never find a burger to replace my double double and chocolate shake. However this place has its own aire about it. The burgers are stupid simple and absolutely delicious. Need to try their shakes next. Maybe tonight! YUM!
Well we made it in style... Got here early in the afternoon, stopped at Horse Shoe Lake to look up a place to stay a while. Found another Motel 6 however they did not take pets, so drove up the road a bit and found The Royal Relax Inn...
