Petrified Forest has to be one of my favorite National Parks. It's a perfect fit for me since it is prime to drive through. Historic Route 66 is just a nice little kick. Painted Deseret is worth the visit alone.

Super bummed with this place... really bummed. There was massive construction project going on under the arch so it looked bad. They had poor signage for where the visitor center and people weren't helpful. But it is one helluva big arch.
