DIRECTIONS TO PARK From I-10 (EAST) - Alabama Take MS-43/MS-603 EXIT 13, towards Bay St. Louis/Picayune. Turn LEFT onto MS-603 S, drive SOUTH 5 miles. Cross over US-90 onto Nicholson Avenue. Drive South over railroad, continue 1000 Ft to Beach Boulevard. Turn RIGHT onto Beach Boulevard. Drive 3.8 miles, turn RIGHT welcome to Buccaneer State Park.

From I-10 (WEST) - Louisiana Take MS-607 S, EXIT 2, toward NASA/JOHN C. STENNIS SPACE CENTER/WAVELAND. Keep RIGHT onto MS-607 S. MS-607 S becomes US-90 E. Drive 8.4 miles, Turn RIGHT onto Lakeshore Road / Silver Slipper Casino Sign. Drive South 4 miles, Turn LEFT onto Beach Boulevard, Drive 1.5 miles, turn LEFT welcome to Buccaneer State Park.

Pets must be on a 6 feet leash at all times and cannot be left unattended. Please clean up after your pets. Pets are not allowed in or around the cabin,Villa or motel areas.Pets that disturb guests will be removed. Arrival/Departure Times Camping: Check-in: 4 PM at all parks, local time; Check-out 2 PM at all parks, local time Cabins: Check-in: 3 PM, local time; Check-out 11 AM, local time If a campsite is not occupied by 11:00 AM the following morning of the reservation date, the site may be released to other campers. Early check-in/late check-out must be coordinated with the park and is subject to availability Quiet Hours: From 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM are designated quiet hours.During this time, the park or lake may be closed to the general public with the exception of registered guests. No more than two (2) vehicles per campsite.Vehicles must display a car pass or visitor pass. All posted speed limits will be enforced. Do not block adjacent sites or roadways. All motorized vehicles (ATV's, dirt bikes, golf carts, scooters, bicycles, toy vehicles) whether it be electrical, gas, diesel or other, used within the state parks must conform to all state laws and regulations. Operations of unlicensed vehicles that cannot be licensed by Mississippi law is prohibited. The only exception would be in the case of a handicapped individual with the permission from the park manager.

Campground: May 3 2010 - Dec 31 2050 : Fireworks are prohibited on state parks,except where the park is presenting a fireworks program. Firearms on state parks are regulated under state and Federal laws and regulations. Holders of valid Mississippi concealed handgun permits may carry a handgun concealed on his or her person while on a state park. Open carry of firearms may be prohibited in designated areas of each park. Any firearms being transported by a park patron must remain secured in the patron's vehicle or trailer. Alcoholic beverages are governed by state and local laws. Cabins,camping pads or any overnight facility will not be rented to any person under the age of 21. Portable generators and metal detectors are prohibited. No camping units are allowed in the cabin, day use or group camp areas. Fires shall be restricted to designated areas and shall not be left unattended at any time. No more than one camping unit will be allowed per camp pad without permission. No more than 8 people allowed to occupy a site at one time, visitors and overnight guests included. No sewage or grey water shall be disposed of on the premises of the campground except at sewage disposal site.Campers must keep their sites clean and dispose of refuseCancellation and change policy and fees are as follows: Changes to a reservation will be subject to a $10 transfer fee. Changes include, but are not limited to, changing dates and sites. With at least 7 days or more advance notice, there will be a $10.00 cancellation fee for each campsite or lodging unit reserved.A voucher will be issued for the remaining balance, good for 12 months from the date of the cancellation. For cancellations within 6 days or less of the arrival, the customer will forfeit 50% of their reservation total and a voucher will be issued for the remaining balance, good for 12 months from the date of the cancellation. Date transfers within 13 days of arrival are not allowed. If you do not arrive at the campground and do not cancel the reservation in accordance to the policy above, you will forfeit your entire payment.
