Close to the highway but we didn’t hear any noise. The spaces are all grass so in the winter it’s squishy and a little muddy, but the spaces were all open and very level. The worst part was the dog poop all over and poor WiFi. Summertime might be better when things are dry. Zero cell coverage in the area so WiFi is important. I wouldn’t stay again just because of the poor WiFi. There are a few long term residents mixed with some RV storage onsite.

This place was the best we stayed at on our month long trip! The owner gave us the largest most secluded spot and it was like our own slice of paradise! Very quiet and secluded. Our dogs had a blast running around. Laundry facilities we're good with 4 washer and 4 dryers. Bathroom was nice and clean. Great location to crescent City and redwood parks. Owners were very nice! We had good Verizon signal and cable was included. The wifi was spotty on our spot but we were warned since our spot was so secluded. In my opinion, this was a great price for full hookups!

Our site was large, quiet/secluded, and near the access to the .5 mile hike path within the park. The park is nearby all the access points for the different Redwood must-see sights. The best thing about this park is the owners. They were uber friendly and was very kind to provide a (hand drawn but very accurate) map. They took the time to speak re the different areas we should explore specifically for our kids. We were able to hit all of the sights during our stay thanks to their map and guidance. We would def stay here again.

Owners are very accommodating and great folks. We were there during the fires and they just accommodated us when we couldn’t go to our next destination. Perimeter Sites adjacent to redwood forest were a bit marrow for large rigs with pppout which proved to be more problematic for smaller RV neighbors. But because the back perimeter sites are deep and with tree cover there was plenty of outdoor living space. The park was right off CA route 101 but because of the site layout and trees, there was no noteworthy road noise. Quiet and so peaceful after dark with loads of stars visible prior to smoke inundation from fires. The pull thru dies were large and fairly easy to access. The road RTE 101and drive was smooth and easy. Nice place. Nice people.

While traveling down the highway we had a fairly significant issue with our 5th wheel. After spending 2 nights on the side of the highway, we came here and the owners could not have been more helpful and kind. Tom offered his tools and shop should we need them to try and fix the trailers. We've been here for over a month trying to get the manufacturer to get the necessary repairs and parts. Beautiful spot, kind people. Love walking around the property. We would definitely come back. 5 stars!!!
This is a sweet Family run campground in a beautiful area. We enjoyed the stay, but the sites are very very tight. Literally packed in 2 ft From each other. There are sites under the trees that are better, but for us, we were super close to both neighbors. I might not recommend only for this reason.

September 1 price was $42 including full hookups, minus Good Sam if you have it! We got site 5 in the woods, which was huge and secluded. Really nice, friendly, and good value! Right off hwy 101, near the Trees of Mystery and a convenience store and gas across the highway.

This is a wonderful little mom and pop operation! Carolyn and Tom are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a pretty heavy rain during our second night, which should be expected on the coast at the end of March. Sites are grass, but Carolyn told us there was a thick layer of gravel underneath to keep us from sinking. She was right. While it was wet, the grass kept the mud at bay. Some traffic noise from 101 was noticeable, but not unpleasant.
We were adjacent to the office and WIFI was excellent. We were thankful for this, as Verizon cell service was spotty and AT&T for our Wineguard was non-existent.
All in all, a very pleasant stay, and we'd stay again if we're ever down this way.
