Shallow Creek RV Resort

I had a site booked here and asked if I could check in a hour or two early and the reservation lady was very rude, not offering any flexibility and only thing she could do was charge another night. I am a regular camper across the country and this was very unusual.

Friendly people, clean, concrete pads, $29 with Good Sam.

Clean, level, concrete sites. Good spacing with grass between. Hot tub and swimming pool. Laundry and bathrooms. Friendly staff. Pull through sites for short term guests. Back in for a few semi-permanent guests. These are well kept sites with newish campers. Well lit. Close to I20 between Shreveport and Dallas. Have stayed here multiple times.

This is the first park we stayed at in our new RV. The camp hosts were so helpful and gracious. The site was beautifully maintained as were the hookups. We look forward to staying there again.

We were in a pull through spot that was not completely level but easy to remedy. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Nice store and facilities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Internet worked well and so did ATT and Verizon. Spaces are close together but not bad for overnight. Full hookups were very convenient. Very clean area’s. Pets are welcome if not aggressive.

We stayed at Shallow Creek one night on our way to Florida for Christmas. We read the reviews and once here found they are true. It started with registration, the office personnel were super helpful. The location was easy to find. It is located in the really beautiful hilly wooded country side of east Texas. The sites were all concrete and were pull through sites. The utility hookups were well placed and were covered from the weather as well. It had rained quite a bit earlier in the day but with the concrete pads, mud or water wasn't a problem. The resort has wifi but I used our on board gateway. We have Verizon and had no problems. Was able to FaceTime my sister in FL with no problems, so no problem with that. We didn't use the cable so can't comment on that.

There are several long term residents but the park is very very quiet.

We would definitely stay here again.

Arrived early and they took us right in. Very friendly folk that are eager to help. Only 1-1/2 miles from I-20. Clean and well groomed facility. Great shower/restroom. Propane on site. Be careful entering the park. It is a narrow drive, but safe. Park is on a gentle slope that increases as you head toward the office. So, many of the spaces have varying degrees of slope. Lower section is mostly long-term, but kept clean and neat. Paid $40, after Good Sam discount.
