Arrived around 7pm on a Tuesday night with no reservatrion. Greeted by the gentleman who helped me with everything I needed including change and detergent for the in-house laundromat. Great space level side to side and gentle slope font to back with full hook-up. Restroom was clean and in good condition with shower stalls. Plenty of hot water, and a great view of the plains. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Large, level sites for big rigs. We have an 8ft bed truck and 43 ft. Fifth wheel. Friendly staff and convenient trash bins in campground. Close to gas station which made it easy to fill up and even get ice cream.

We pulled in late afternoon, due to bad weather. The campground worker in the office was nice, and we found a few spots to choose from. Sites are pretty torn up, and not very level, hookups were fine.
If you need a overnight spot, this works, and I'm sure this is the primary reason to stop, not really any attractions, or reason to stay longer. We'd probably not stay again unless there were no other options.
There is a Diner within walking steps, nothing special, but it works

We pulled in right at the beginning of an hour long downpour. The office staff was friendly and helped us decide which site would work for us and the family member traveling with us. The sites are wide enough and long enough to fit with our fifth wheels and trucks. Not extremely level but not the worse we have seen. Hookups were fine, no issues. There are trees near many of the sites so some shade.
We would stay again when passing through the area.

I’m getting smarter. Choosing directions on map do no always work. But....the address got us there. Nice, level pull through sites. We were happy to find this site after stopping in 2 earlier towns whose campgrounds were out of business.

We were looking for a place at the far edge of our willingness to drive that day. Full hookups were a requirement so that we could run our AC through the northern plains heat dome that was happening. This place was a good match. It was very quiet - it seemed like it might have been populated with seasonal workers. Staff was nice, had what we needed, and the town was pleasant enough for the morning dog walk. No complaints; also no joy. It was a serviceable service stop.

This is a sweet little campground just off I90. It was clean and only about 25% full, so quiet. The bath and shower room was always clean and stocked. There are firepit, playground, picnic area, all unused. There were plenty of trash receptacles, never full. Even though near I90, little to no traffic noise, and it felt like we were surrounded only by grassy plains. Staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, helpful.

This was a stopping spot on the way to Mt Rushmore. It’s a larger campground and primarily dirt/gravel spots fairly level. Large rig friendly, full hookups, WiFi a bit spot but the offer it. They also have a separate dump station if needed , playground, basketball courts, easy check in process and friendly staff. They keep grounds clean and maintained. We had 4 bar with Verizon with a booster. There is a fast station as you leave the park to the right. Small quiet town and would stay here again if needed.

Most sites are pull-thru, but the water and electric are set up so that the pedestal is shared between sites. No big deal but I did not know until I pulled in and had to turn around. This setup design made for more space for the facing units. Good idea I think. Restrooms are clean. The check-in was fast.
The interstate is close so there is road noise but not too bad.

Nice people. Very clean and well-maintained. Grass living space.
Wifi: Free WiFi. Could not do much other than a Google search.
Site: A bit unlevel. Able to get somewhat close with Anderson levelers. But, was only there for a night so it was tolerable.
Location: Most stores were closed and no local restaurant options. Gas station right next store was helpful for ice, snacks, and filling up before travel.
Safety: Very safe.
Unfortunately, even though the campground was really nice, I am giving it a 4 of 5 because there was just nothing else open in the area.
