Shur Shot Lodge has access to over 6,500 acres of land intensively managed for several species of game. Located in central South Dakota, Shur Shot Lodge offers not only Pheasant Hunting, Antelope and Whitetail/Mule Deer Hunting, but also Prairie Dog. Shur Shot Lodge, LLC is a family-owned hunting operation. We offer full-service professional hunts. With home cooked meals and an awesome countryside view, you will experience a pheasant hunt of a lifetime. We go out of our way with hospitality to make sure you enjoy your hunt to the fullest. Bird Hunting: You will experience the finest pheasant hunting in South Dakota. The preserve opens September 1st and goes through February. The third Saturday in October marks the opening date for the annual South Dakota pheasant hunting tradition, with plenty of shooting action and delicious food. Whitetail/Mule Deer Hunting: Persistent quality management and keen trophy judgement on our hunters’ part has been the key to our success. All hunts include meals, lodging, and field transportation. Not only will you be hunting in prime habitat, but you will be hunting with a guide who knows the land as well as the game species you are hunting. Hunting Lodge: We have a perfect spot for hunting getaways, family gatherings, receptions, weddings, and simple “get away from it all” times far away from that hectic pace.
