This is a good place if you are passing through. Most of the “campers” here are snowbirds. They live here and most know each other. We got a spot in the gravel parking lot near the road. Not so great for hanging out or sleeping. The road can be noisy and the street lights are bright. But there is a 9 hole golf course and a big pool and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay. Big rig friendly.

3rd year we've stayed here and the park has changed greatly in those 3 years, but not for the better.
It's still good for an overnight or just using the dump station. With the centralized urban location comes all the benefits of being near stuff, and all the negatives of noise and crime.
It technically has all the amenities: a heated pool, hot tub, showers, golf course, rec rooms, and laundry facilities. But they aren't clean nor well maintained, lots of broken items and garbage.
It used to be a mostly snowbird park with lots of events and activities, but the snowbirds are all aging and not participating, and locals are moving in and they don't participate either. So it's turning into a trailer park. And with security so weak there's frequent thefts, fly dumping, and suspicious activity. Staff is nice and friendly but management really needs to invest in gates and cameras. Many of the snowbirds are pessimistic about returning for future seasons.
It used to be a nice park, now its mediocre, the future doesn't look bright. If you're staying short term you might not notice, but staying seasonally is a crap shoot.

This is a great place to stay for a night or two after boondocking. We have a 5 person family pet included so things get more pricy however, this stay has propane, ice, WiFi and drinking water on site. It’s also close to the interstate and gas. Would easily stay again.

Only spent one night. Seems like everything you need in a city Rv park. Yup people are close, it is noisy, but convenient everything. Not our kind of space, but it did what we needed.

We stayed at Desert Trails for 4 months this winter. It’s our second visit. The positives are the mature vegetation, the abundance of birds, access to the desert, and friendly people. Unfortunately, for us, the negatives outweigh the positives. The pool is not maintained and there are no chairs, there is a general sense of disrepair with garbage cans not emptied routinely, broken items not repaired, and a large, ugly dirt pile in the middle of the park. Wifi is spotty at best and never worked in our campsite. The laundry is also spotty and the park with not reimburse for lost money. There are no other amenities. All activities are run by the residents including setup, clean up, etc. There have also been security concerns with numerous accounts of non-residents roaming the park and trying door handles. Unfortunately, we won’t stay here in the future.
