Numerous sites but very close and tight. This park is adjacent to great trails for hiking and biking. What makes it attractive is that it is in the desert, has many options available including excellent wi-fi, multiple laundry rooms, great showers and bathrooms, bocce courts (4), horseshoes, etc. NO TV.

What really sets this park apart is that it is for campers over forty years of age, and no children. People return here year after year for the winter. Close to Tucson (thirty minutes) so you can your fill of the big city, access Costco, etc. Far enough away so that you can see the stars. And quiet.

Daily, weekly, and monthly rates. The ones indicated above are for 30 amps. Nightly, weekly, monthly (29, 170, 510.) Rates include everything, including electricity. (And ice.)

There is some deferred maintenance, i.e. the picnic tables could use some sanding and paint, but overall a very nice place.

Came here to visit a friend and glad I did!

The hook-up sites are very very tight, however, folks here appear to be very considerate and respectful in this park. Folks are quiet and very friendly. Lots of friendly long-term residents occupy the best sites in this park.

The "Activities" here are AWESOME! Yoga and tai chi several times a week (and with EXCELLENT instructors and facilities), food trucks come through, swimming pool, library, craft groups.... dancing and game nights, free evening performances, I've never seen anything that comes close. The owners have seriously got it going on in terms of providing entertainment for their guests.

However, if Dry Camping, be aware, all "DC" sites are right near a busy road so it is noisy, plus, just across the hedge from dry camping there is a different campground that were hosting a rig with 5 LARGE barking dogs, so DC isn't quiet; and, "Free wifi" is weak unless you're in one of the buildings. If you don't care about noise, dry camping is fantastic!

We have been coming to DT for 3 winters now and wouldn't have it any other way! The park is well maintained, and there are activities every day, live entertainment twice a week, a food truck also twice a week, miles or desert trails on our doorstep (hence the name!) a library, pool table and darts, several laundry rooms, clean showers, exercise room, two dog runs, free ice and a heated pool, who could ask for more? The fellow RVers are outgoing and fun, the office staff is friendly and caring, and the weather is absolutely fantastic!! We love it!!!

We arrived here on Oct 8 2018 and stayed a week. This is not enough time for this area. You need at least 2 weeks. There are lots of different species of birds in this park and a lot of people do the winter season here. Facilities are clean and there are dog runs, and other stuff at this park. It is so large they have their own trail through the cactus. We are birders so we went to Saguaro National Park, both sides, Madera Canyon and other local hot spots. We did see the Elegant Trogon in Madera. So many places. We did not see. Also when you walk out of the north of the park you are in the wilderness. The WiFi is the only downside of this park. You cannot watch any video. There is plenty of bandwidth for blogs, shopping and such but no YouTube or other video. Some sites have some vegetation like 14,15,16 and some do not. This is a very large park.

Rate reflects a dry camping spot as their hook up sites were full. I typically only stay in RV parks one night to do laundry, etc., but I liked this place so much I stayed a second night.

Very clean, well kept, well run park. The shower house is nicer than most I’ve seen. Multiple great laundry, restroom, shower facilities. Lots of extra amenities like a TV room, library, dog run area. You name it.

As the name implies, you have access to a lot of hiking and biking trails and I believe you can even hike or bike to Saguaro NP from here.

We stayed here for 10 nights, in section C. We walked from our site to Tucson Mountain Park daily. Endless options for trails, but beware of the Cholla cactus, it is quite plentiful here. The staff was extremely friendly. The grounds used to be a waterslide park, and some of the original infrastructure is still in use. Some buildings look rather worn, but everything is clean and functional. The weekly food trucks were a neat perk too. The sites and roads are small and congested, but it is a beautiful spot and we would stay here again.

This is a beautiful RV park, a little rustic and quirky. We were going to to just dump and fill with fresh, then stay at Snyder Hill BLM. But decided hookups would be nice after 9 days boondocking. We chose a pull thru site for convenience. These sites are tight. If staying longer term, we’d choose a 50amp site with more room. Lots of amenities, but early April 2020, most are closed for now. Park arranged for food trucks, a different one each evening, to come in every day. We really enjoyed the fresh Italian and Indian (East) food. The park is adjacent to Tucson Mt Park and trails lead right into it. Foot or Mountain Bike! Would def consider spending a winter here.

We were only planning on staying for 2 weeks but because this park was such a good fit for us we stayed 6 weeks to ride out the worst of the Covid 19 restrictions. Of course all their usual group activities and pool were closed. But I made use of the big library and laundry. And the best part was being able to hike into Tucson Mountain Park right from the campground! So we got to enjoy the flowering cacti and desert birds and animals whenever we wanted!

We only stayed one night and it started with my wife stepping on a cactus dropping yet we still raved about our stay. Two dog parks, easy back in spots, privacy, shade, and a pool. A beautiful desert experience like no other.

We chose this RV park because of the reviews about the nice clean laundry facility. We had been traveling & camping for 3 weeks & needed to wash clothes. Great experience-clean laundry room open 24/7.
We were staying at a County campground in the Tucson Mountain Park just a view miles away so drove over to check the park out. The office was closed but there was a listing on the board of vacant sites. We booked 3 nights & paid by credit card. First day we used that clean laundry room-credit card operated machines.
The park is a senior community with a lot of snow birds staying long term. The park previously was a water park made into a cactus garden so it has a walk way up to the hilltop view. Lots of little cactus gardens in the park-. I enjoyed the painted rocks. We stayed during Covid so masks were mandatory inside buildings & people were walking out side with them on. There were signs everywhere that said “Wear a mask or leave the park”. There are full hook ups & picnic table at each site. Lots of amenities: heated pool, rec Hall, library, pool hall, gym, woodworking Shop, nature trail, sewing & craft room.... We enjoyed our evening sunset walks & after dark Holiday lights. One afternoon we went to Saguaro National Park. This is a 40+ adult only park so no kids allowed, but lots of dogs.
