We arrived after dark and since no one was across from us, easily pulled into space 41 and had the hookups on the correct side. Bathrooms adjacent to the pool were very close, and they were clean. Husband used the bathhouse last night and they were equally clean, but the water was tepid.
Full hookups were fine, but adjacent sites have all hookups in between sites, so being able to pull through was key to having hookups on the correct side.
Road is narrow and winds, and entrance from the road is also marked by a horse hotel. That sign was easier to see.
We would come again.

This is a country lot. The access road from I20 starts with "End State Maintenance" and leads to 2 miles of passable paved road. Entry to the campground is over uneven dirt road for about 1/4 of a mile, passing over a low earthen dam, one lane. Our site is a composite, two sites back to back forming a pull through. sufficiently level for our jacks to cope with. They are setting up for Halloween and the place seems well maintained.

We were going to stay one night on our way home to Fort Worth, TX.
The campground is very remote one of the reasons we chose it to get away from the Interstate noise. The road leading to the campground is pretty much a dirt road but no problem for us because it wasn’t raining. It is a quaint park nestled around a pond with lots of duck. There is no WiFi but AT&T has two bars of 5G. The first site Caroline assigned us only had 102 volts and the second sit #79 only had 105 volts. Our rv has a hard wired Progressive Industries EMS that won’t allow power to pass through below a 106 volt threshold to protect the electrical devices so stay there was an exercise in futility. Returned to the office again to get a refund so we could search for a place with adequate power but sadly left with no refund. Far from the most expensive lesson I have learned but still disappointing. It was mid June in Mississippi with 100+ temperatures so A/C is a must.

This is a great campground near I-20, but quiet as it sits back in the woods a bit. Spacious sites, large fishing lake, camp store, laundry, and rental pavilion. Being updated and amenities added. Will definitely camp again this summer.

The new staff is extremely helpful and is really cleaning this place up! We’re having a relaxing time here over the 4th. The pool is refreshing and the lakes are stocked. I’m catching them hand over fist in my special spot. See if you can find it. Highly recommend. It’ll only going to get better day after day!!

Nice rustic campground near I-20. Easy to get to. Plenty of spaces to choose from. Was really quiet except for the time another guest left their yapping dog, while they were away from camp.
Now for the bad part, had to search a couple sites before we could find one the electric worked at. The sewer hook ups were not sealed very well, so we had to enjoy that smell all night. They do have 3 shower rooms, but they are in need of some serious renovations. Shower heads are absolutely garbage in 2 of them.
All in all, it is not an awful park, just seriously in need of updating, especially for the $50 per night rate. It should be closer to $20-$25 per night.
I would stay again if the price matched the facilities, otherwise maybe not.

This is an out of the way campground that is worth seeking. The staff is friendly, the lots spacious, and looking out over the lake is serene. The price is very reasonable. Only thing I would like to see is improved is the bathhouse, could use a cleaning. Would definitely come back!

We almost passed this stay up because of old reviews. After a quick search, I found that the campground was recently purchased in July of 2023. The new owners have done so many upgrades already and it doesn't sound like they plan on stopping anytime soon. The park manager is just as genuine and friendly as it gets. I felt very welcomed by not only the employees but also the long-term guests. If you are looking for a laid-back, clean spot to stay, this is it. It was a relief to stay somewhere that has your basic respectful rules, yet you don't feel like you are walking on eggshells like some camp resorts. We will go back next time we are in the area.

Setting is pleasant, but sites are on top of each other on grass. Shared utility poles and sewers next to each other, so that neighbors sewer hose had to go over or under my electric cord. Here seems to be little respect for privacy of sites. Others walked and drove thru my site.
For 97 sites there is one bath house with three shower/toilet combos. During my stay one was closed for repairs. There is no ventilation so it is stuffy and malodorous. Fortunately I was only there one night and could avoid taking a shower.
There are new washer and dryers in laundry with app to pay. The dog park has many tires where water sits. Not a healthy situation for dogs.
There are many long term campers and they may get a better price to make the deficiencies tolerable.
