Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on May 25, 2024I thought the price was a little high but we weren't in the mood to dry camp. Folks in the store/office were friendly and looked like we could get most of what we needed right there. Great view of the tower and the canyon right behind the campground. The sites are a bit slanty, but not impossible. Close to the highway, but we didn't notice the noise much.

Beautiful view of Devils Tower and canyon behind us. I believe only 7 sites all pull through dirt/gravel. They are unlevel front to back but we managed. There are two decent shower/toilets area, no laundry. No water or sewer, only 50 amp. WiFi only in office.
In the office there is a restaurant and gift shop both nice. Had broasted chicken one night and was good. Pie also good. Not much to see or do but the tower which is two miles away.
Hulett, Wy only 9 miles down road. They have a hardware store, grocery store plus a great deli, R-Deli.

Fantastic view. Can’t beat it. But they only have electric. No sewage, dumping, or water. So far mostly dry camping without a generator, it’s great. Just make sure you have water.

This was a great place to Boondock! You can’t beat the view! I’d give it a 5 star if they had any kind of hook up. It’s beautiful and the sites were clean and spacious.

We weren’t told that there was no water here until we arrived. Unfortunately we had enough water to last us for an evening. A beautiful view of Devil’s Tower, but the glaring yard lights blocked out anything that we could’ve seen of the Milky Way. For the price, go on down to the KOA. But be sure to make reservations because the KOA fills up.

Devils Tower View - 476 Hwy 24 - Devils Tower, WY 82714 - (307) 467-5737 - Space 2
Dry Camping - 50A Electric Only - No Dump Station - No Water - Shower House - 2 Stalls - Clean - Gravel over Grass Lot.
Cell Service: Verizon - 1 to 2 bars. Mostly 1.
Pull Thru - Rear Window with View of Devils Tower abt 2 miles away. Door faces West sun in slot 1 and 2.
Checked out the campground at Devils Tower. All lots are circular and can accommodate up to 30-35' only. Dry camping. Community water available. No electric.
Devils Tower View is overpriced for a Dry Camp situation. But it is convenient for a visit to Devils Tower. Space 1 and 2 are for larger rigs (over 40'). The other 5 slots are good up to abt 30'. There was only 1 other camper during our stay. They were local hunters. We saw them briefly. There is a restaurant on site. The park is very close to Hwy. Routine country traffic. Can be noisy during the day. Quieter at night with occasional drive by truck.
There is a shower house on site with 2 stalls that have a shower, toilet and sink. Heat is provided by baseboards. One side worked better than the other. The one stall would not lock which could provide an interesting story if someone walks in on you. Water had good pressure and was hot. No charge.
During our stay from 10/6 to 10/8, Devils Tower was very quiet. There are good hiking trails. Were good shoes.
The nearest town was Hulet, WY. Drop in on the Hitch'n Post for a good meal and very friendly service. The town is very small but has a grocery store, fuel and a couple of other bar/restaurants.
BE CAREFUL in this area and surrounding! Deer are plentiful and a road hazard.

We stayed in site one. It was fairly level and we didn’t need to unhitch. Electric only but bath house close by. Loved the bath house/restroom! Looked rustic but had modern amenities.

Traveling with friends and we stayed here for the night. What a great view of Devil’s Tower! No issues getting our Super C into the campground (no overhead obstructions). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Private CG nicer than KOA close by IMO. CG doesnt look like much when you drive by, but great view and access to Devils Tower. Awesome bathrooms and shower. Not so crowded like KOA and cheaper. Staff friendly .

One of the few campgrounds open around the Tower in late April. A treeless patch of grass along the highway about a mile from the park entrance. The grounds included a store, restaurant, and showers. Our stay was quiet, as there was one other camper and little traffic on the highway. The owners are good folks who grill up a fine breakfast. A bit pricy all things considered, but the private showers were well worth it.
