Reviews
FHU, big rig friendly, easy in and out, pull thru avail, dog park, propane on site.
This is another good KOA. Our site was a little small but it was fine for what we needed. Dog park was nice and clean.
We wished we would have stayed longer to do more in that area.
Nice campground, was built on a civil war battle field. So there is some interesting history.
Restrooms/showers very nice.
Nice play area for the kids. We stayed one night on the way home from Disney over Memorial Day weekend (2015), so it was busy.
Downside, there is a race track very close to the campground, that was very noisy all night long.
Loved this park.

We were looking for a quick overnight stop, easy in and out, close to the interstate in Chattanooga, and this place fit the bill. We were only here overnight, so we didn't get a chance to check out the amenities, but everything seemed well maintained, and check in was easy. We had a long pull-through and didn't need to unhitch. It rained all night while we were here, and we noticed that a few of the sites near the back were pretty flooded the next morning, but our site was fine. Campground is on an old Civil War Battlefield and there's a trail to a monument, so that's a fun little bit of bonus history (we didn't walk the trail because it was really muddy after the rain). Sites were a bit tight, and I'm not sure I'd pick this park for a longer stay (there are others in the area that feel a little more private and spacious), but it was perfect for what we needed.
Easy access, friendly check-in. Pull thru site most long enough for big rig w toad. Gravel interior roads and sites. Fair spacing between sites. Very level campground, so many puddles after a good rain, but next day OK. Laundry is like a laundromat, big and new machines. The pool is right up by the road. Playground and fenced dog area up front too. No race days when we where here but some plane noise. Neat, clean RV park.
Nice clean park right off I 75. All lots are pull thru but small. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here simply because we picked up our new travel Trailer that morning in Ringgold, GA. Being first time owners we wanted to stay local the first night before driving 600+ miles from home. Previous reviews on target. We had first space when entering (assigned, not chosen) and while we could use our own shower I chose to use more water pressure in the bath house. Everything was great and well maintained. Our children did not accompany us for pickup but we looked at it from a parent perspective and had Covid not been an issue closing playground / pool, they would have also enjoyed it. We left early the next morning to do our first leg home of 400 miles, and did not get to explore the Civil War history, but will next time.
Could hear noise from road but we were very front - sounded like Friday night drag racing at times. Streaming Netflix with our fire stick on their wifi worked great except at end after 10pm. Checkin was quick and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Park is nice and clean. Staff is a little short, not overtly rude just not very helpful. Not much around this site, and cell signal is terrible with Verizon or TMobile. Their provided internet is no. existent. I would only recommend if you don’t have other options. For what you are getting it’s hard to justify the rate.
I have mixed feelings about this place. Sites are level and easy to get into. Place is clean with nice laundry area and office observes Covid precautions. It was close enough to the Chattanooga sites we came to see. Biggest downside is all the noise. Three nights we heard loud drag racing from a nearby track til 11pm. Then there were the dump trucks across the street dumping with a loud clang every 10 min or so. This went on til 2am some nights. The other issue was that Confederate flags were permitted to be displayed at sites. These scream racism to me and are less than welcoming.
The only contact I had with anyone here was over the phone when I made my reservation. The gentleman couldn’t have been nicer.
Contactless check in was simple, and this was our first night camping-ever. The pull thru site was level with full hookups. The campground was clean. We did not use any of their facilities. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is because we had a little trouble with the WiFi.
We chose this campground because it was close to where we picked up our new camper and because of the reviews. Several sites were decorated for Christmas which was fun to see. We were there on a Tuesday night and had no noise problems whatsoever.
