“directly on the beach”
Beverly Beach Camptown is one of the few RV resorts in the U.S. situated directly on the beach, with 1500 linear feet of Atlantic Ocean beachfront for your enjoyment. With attractions like Daytona Beach 30 miles to the south and St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, 30 miles to the north, there are activities to keep everyone busy. We are truly a year-round premier camping destination.

We came down five days prior to hurricane Milton with anticipation of going to Orlando. Unfortunately, we did not make it to Orlando. We ran from the storm however this campground was super accommodating. Please keep in mind that it is directly on the beach so if there are any issues as far as storms or anything coming up the Atlantic, you are the first to get it. This particular weekend it was very windy, but even though we only had really one good beach day the food up-and-down A1A was amazing.
The camp store has pretty much anything that you could need if you left something home and the staff was super laid-back

Pricey but very beautiful. Right at the beach with backin or pull in sites. Store on property with everything you need from beer, food, ice, beach things, fishing poles, bait, and so much more.

Expensive but the closeness to the ocean is worth every penny. Loved the sound of the surf. Staff was friendly and accommodating when we asked to change sites due to drunk/loud neighbors. Sites are too close for comfort but the beach makes you forget

We needed a place to stay near the in-laws and this was the closest and best rated. Your experience here is 100% going to depend on the weather and beach conditions. Coming from Destin we were not impressed for a number of reasons:
-$130 is pushing it as this is not a resort and everything is 20+ yrs old.
Horrible water pressure. We had to fill our fresh and run off the pump.
I did not find the staff helpful or friendly. In fact one employee came over and messed with our surge protector without even speaking to me (I was sitting outside). She caused some issues and the maintenance guys had to come out.
- Even when you are on a beachfront sure you are very close to AIA and traffic noise.
-The beach is eroded and not very nice.
That said I would come back if we had
to be in the area again.

Stayed 4 nights and weather was perfect. Yes the sites are expensive but absolutely worth it to be on the beach edge with windshield facing the sunrise every morning. Spots are designed to face or backup to sea wall and while close to neighbors, you have plenty room to let awnings out. Concrete pads, cable TV and picnic tables at each site, no fire rings although you can use a charcoal grill if 6”off ground. Never could get wifi to work but not a deal breaker. Beach not crowded, neighbors and staff friendly. Good to see families camping and enjoying some freedom. Great restaurants not far. Best Italian was La Piazza Cafe 5 miles away.

First time staying here and have to say we enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately we had the outer affects of a TS off the Gulf Coat so we got some rain and wind. The sites are a little tight but have everything you need to make the stay comfortable. The WiFi leaves some to be desired as it was spotty at best.... Cable service was decent.
The bath house facilities were older but very clean and well appointed. If you want to spend some time by the beach in a quant little town then this will be the campground to look at.

We stayed 4 nights. Desk staff was on the verge of rude. Perhaps she was having a bad day. Rattled off all the information so fast I couldn’t understand her and acted like I was disrupting her. The other 2 desk clerks were on the phone. Later I made a purchase at the store and the clerk was exceptionally nice.
As stated by others, the spaces are small, but have nice concrete pad, and was perfectly level. If we come back here, I will ask for a site on the north side of the road. Sites are larger. There is no view, but you still have access to the beach and walkways.

I don't know if their photos were photoshopped, or were taken prior to the last hurricane, but there are no palm trees (or ANY landscaping) at this park. It is just a parking lot. Sure, it's by the ocean, which could be nice, but unfortunately during our stay, it was so incredibly windy, it ruined our stay. Our rig was actually damaged by the wind. It was so windy, the sand would pelt you on the beach, and it was impossible to even be outside. All the rigs along the beach have left early. Yes, just bad luck with the weather maybe, but be prepared: it is often windy here. Road noise is a factor as well. Street lights were bright enough to be bothersome at night.
Staff in the office were efficient but not especially friendly. Check in was easy, parking was easy (no pull-throughs, only pull in/back in sites). Sites are gravel/sand with a concrete pad and a picnic table. I'm not sure why they chose to call this a "resort"-- there is no pool, no tennis, no pickleball, no shuffleboard, etc. Only restrooms and laundry, which were clean. All in all, it may be a 4-star location, but not in ANY way a "resort". (I did not deduct stars for the weather, as that was just bad luck). However, at $155/night for a NON-premium site, it is way over-priced for what they offer, so deducted another star. In fact, of the nearly 30 places I have stayed on this 4-month trip, it is the most disproportionately priced for what you get. Will not stay here again.
**I have stayed at over 25 RV parks and campgrounds along the Florida coast over the last three months.... Look for my other reviews!**

This was our second time staying here (both times on site 30). The first two days were incredibly windy, but the third day was exactly why we came. Perfect weather, perfect views. Beverly Beach is right alongside A1A, so it's easy to get into town or to the many locations nearby. There are also a lot of enjoyable bike routes around. The facilities are clean and generally well-maintained, and the staff are helpful. We will definitely go back.

Stayed for 4 nights at a premium back-in site in our 45’ fifth wheel. We were right on the beach so you can cannot beat the view! That is what makes this campground worth staying. Priced at $170 for weekend and $155 for weekday is too much for what you get. No problems with electric or sewer, but water pressure was awful! Worst we have ever had (20-25 psi) and spoke with other campers and everyone had same issue. Didn’t try WiFi so unsure how signal was. No pool or other amenities. The beach is the only thing going for this place. While you are parked right next to the beach and have an incredible view, you are in a parking lot on a seawall that is about a 6-7 foot drop to beach. There are boardwalks along the campground for access to beach. This “drop” is a little concerning with small children. We couldn’t open the back porch (which was one of our biggest reasons for staying there) because the walkway behind the site needs to be clear for guests to walk to boardwalks. Also, be prepared to get all of your stuff, RV and vehicle plastered with salt and sand on those windy days (which was every day of our stay). About 35 mins to St Augustine. Good restaurants about 5-10 mins away. Bathrooms were clean and laundry looked clean also. No problem with road noise as we could only hear the waves crashing in the sand which was great!
