I needed a last minute couple of nights to stay during the winter in Florida. NOT always an easy task. I was able to snag my requested nights here in March 2019. This is a large park. It is also a golf club. The pools were nice and in good shape as was the hot tuns. There are three of each (i only visited one). Bath houses were clean and in good shape. ATT internet was super fast at 91mbps down and 30 up. The only down side was the spot I was able to get was grass (no gravel) and due to recent rain was a little muddy. At night I was also able to detect a hum noise. Not sure if it was a large motor/transformer or some other's RV heat/AC.
It is probably 15-20 minute ride to town where the Walmart and restaurants are. Overall a good couple of days at the last minute in very popular Florida in the winter.

While the staff was extremely friendly the property has no sense of identity. Is it an RV Resort or Park model village. We have a 39 foot RV that was placed between two permanent Park models. The side roads are very narrow making it nearly impossible to get the rig in. After much maneuvering by my patient hubby she fit. Getting out will be another story. The speed limit is 10 however on the main roads people are going much higher with traffic all hours day and night. Golf course is fair, no curb appeal to the resort. There is a marginal RV area but it seems to be an after thought. All in all it will do for a short stay, this is more of a permanent residence community than an RV Resort.

Staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Actual grounds were not well keep. Golf course was not well maintained and looked as if it was mowed with a lawnmower. Full time park models scattered with rv lots. We felt safe there and the property is huge. Just one of those places with so much potential but needs a lot of maintenance

Large attractive park, great place to ride around on a bike. Distinct sections for full-timers vs. short-term stays. I stayed in the Crossroads area of the park where there were some full-timers, some cabins but mostly short-term stays. Upon arrival I got a spot and had to move immediately when I discovered I was allergic to the Spanish moss that is everywhere. I moved into a full-sun spot to avoid the shady moss trees. Ants were the worst I've ever seen; the horrible fire ants. I had to scan the site every day to be sure my dog didn't get near any, constantly putting down ant spray. I also needed more leveling blocks than I had, the spot was large enough but I couldn't find a level spot without many blocks.
There are several pools in the campground and the one in the Crossroads area was nice, can't speak for the other areas.
Laundry was a real pain, I tried to do laundry but discovered that you need to purchase a $5 card from the office, that you can't use anywhere else, with no credit on it, for the laundry. Since I was leaving the next day I was annoyed that I had to pay $5 to have the privilege to spend money on laundry. So plan to do laundry before or after you get here.
The mail services were very nice, it's a large park and the post office closed from 1-3 every day to process the mail but they do open as soon as they're done. UPS and FedEx are supposed to be delivered directly to your spot so if you use Amazon be sure to put your space number in the address. There was a UPS package I never received because the office wouldn't give info on my space number.

After getting set up (including significant work to level up) we had to ask for a new site as a neighbors electric box, which was on the same pedestal as ours, smelled like it was burning and neighbors confirmed they had no power. Workers came out to fix it but we weren’t comfortable with the situation.
We were given a new site, however, lack of maintenance shows here.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 months last winter. This is a huge RV park with a golf course. Most of the sites are descent size and provide shade. They have numerous amenities: pools, hot tubs, fitness room, wood shop, pool table, ping pong table, library/ reading area, dog parks and ponds that allow fishing... and this still isn't all of them. For the monthly rate during peak season, we felt like the cost was appropriate and would definitely come back.

Stayed here in March 2020. Easy check in right at the front gate. We have Thousand Trails, our plans changed last minute, and we were able to reserve this for free. After staying here 5 nights I would definitely want to come back here every year. We love to walk, run, and bike-and have 2 small dogs. The dog park here was immaculate and we met nice people there. The town of Minneola is about 5 miles away and they have a trailhead there for the South Lake bike trail which leads into the West Orange Trail. There is also a HUGE dog park in Minneola. Lots of shopping close by - and almost next door is Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards - free tours and wine tastings daily.
We were given site 889, which was in the "Elite" category. Found out later from an office employee that meant it bordered the golf course and was larger. It was perfect! Standard sites are narrower and I believe in the middle of the rows. Premium sites are end sites of rows/corner lots.
There are many park models in the older sections, but in the newer sections: Veranda and Crossroads it is primarily RVs. Some are seasonal - some not. The place is not rundown, the people are very friendly, and the weather beat a PA winter.
Nice library/game room. Small exercise room. Clubhouses & pools in all 3 sections and activities daily.
Very easy entrance and exit to park.

We happen to visit this beautiful RV resort at the start of the China Virus. As such all activities, including the pools, had been closed. But even with the activities closed, we had a wonderful time, relaxing and enjoying the local area. I gave it an overall grade of 4 stars cause the bathroom in the Lifestyle section needs to be updated, and some of the non-premium sites, needed updating.
But other than that, this park is truly a 5 star RV resort, with a wonderful 18 hole golf coarse, and the pools, looks like they would of been great to use.

Zero fee reflects Thousand Trails Encore membership
This is our second time staying here and both times we have enjoyed our stay.
My only reason for giving this resort four instead of five stars is the noise from kids, and not having a concrete pad.
A more common thread today is the amount of families full-time RV living, in the Encore/Thousand Trails system.
The kids who are home schooled and released in the afternoon without supervision to go play. Since it is a secure park I see nothing wrong with that. But what I do find it distracting to hear 20+ kids screaming all afternoon and into the evening, till 10 PM.
As such we could not even have a relaxing evening grilling out for children running through our campsite screaming.
Without a concrete pad, every time it rains, the campsite becomes a mud pit.
We had 4 bars if Verizon but had no internet speed. Less than 256k at best. I called Verizon and after over an hour on the phone, trying to resolve the issue, it seems Verizon has over sold this market
